That art is amazing.
Its not fair.

EDIT: Okay hang on I should seriously not have replied to this. Didn't realise it's about a year old.

Now to tip the scales...

AGS Games in Production / Re: Flaccid Carnage

I'm glad to see this project is going so well.

What was the due date again?
14 November... 2004?

Hehe.
;)

Haha this is really amateur but it was fun to make.
It's basically a jazzed up version of the original and I didn't edit the main tune very much.

But I figured out the chords on my own and came up with this on my electric piano.

Enjoy!

Monkey Island Blues!

EDIT: Just noticed a slight sound problem. Might have to turn your volume up a l'il bit. :)

It's a private Pre-School with very few l'il kids.
Do you know why...
Because it's an adventure game...
That I'm making...
And I have ALL POWER!
MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Thanks for the paintover Stefano, I'm gonna try my own paintover but yours really helps with sizes.

Stuh: Thanks for the pics. The modern one is too modern and the old one is too old. Just gonna use your average, school desk.

And btw: I have desks in my school that look like these. They aren't that unusual.

Thanks hey guys!
:D

Okay thanks for crits and stuff, gonna make the desks taller - even the teacher's one.

Funnily enough it is a standalone room. I'm trying to think of it as a standalone pre-school. Has anyone here seen PowerPuff girls?  ;)

Okay, so that stuff I can change. But does anybody have any ideas on what kind of chairs I can draw. I was never going to use that footstool, it was meant to be a base for the chair.

Okay, this is actually my first official AGS room and I'm pretty happy with it.
Never too happy for some criticism though!

The only problem I have is with chairs. I was originally thinking of those big ol' blue plastic ones... But I'm struggling a bit.

Have a look, I dare you.

Yeah man, it looks good.
How did you make it?

Oh and, the thread name is 'Look at my webshite'.
After laughing quite a lot I decided it would be the humane thing for me to tell you.

Okay guys, thanks for the critism up to now. Appreciate it.

Right well you can check it out again now and have a look at some minor changes I've made. I set my AGS ripped cup background to black and I made the writing 1 point bigger. Dunno if that helps too much but, yeah.

I think that you will also notice (Some of you with more relief than I believed possible) that the writing is no longer centred.

So, please have another look and tell me if it's any better in your eyes.
And in-case you're too lazy to scroll up:

BTW: This website was made as a Flash movie because it allows me to do more fancy things. And if you don't have a Flash Player then... As we say here in South Africa -

Oh my word... They're beautiful...

Um... Now all I have to do is ask Stefano if I can use this in my game coz I completely ripped that picture dude!  ;)

What do you guys think? Anything obvious I messed up? Anything to make it look better?

Critics' Lounge / Stairs... AAAAARGH!
Wed 20/04/2005 15:50:50

Okay... These stairs... They suck.Ã,  :P

For the love of me I cannot improve this picture. I wanted to have a simple flight of stairs for a cut scene. They're supposed to be made of wood with yellow railings and no bottom to them (Like I have at the moment).

Basically, it's just the stairs and then the guy walks down and off the screen.
I can picture this almost perfectly in my head but I cannot seem to draw them in paint.

The railings look so wrong I'm actually a bit scared. Does anyone have any ideas of things I can do to make it look realistic?Ã,  :-\

Yeah dude, very perceptive.

I played this on my electric piano and it's really hard to get everything even.
All these music programs I download involve me spending about a month of reading a manual and a further month of experience. I don't really have the time for that and considering the fact that all I want to do is basically notate music with a playback feature, it hardly seems worth it.

I dunno hey, all the music things I post are off a stiffy that I just used to record a melody I came up with all of a sudden. I can't really get them past that stage though, as you can see.

Hmmm, I'll find something.

Hehe!
