I'm pretty sure that was Layabout. Kind of an odd thing to talk about on the internet, don't you think?  :P

I don't care about my personal information. I'd be happy if my computer stopped installing ad delivery software and creepy porn browser plugins without asking me first. I can't believe it's even legal to do that..

No. But your avatar does  :P

That's okay, though. The image of you getting hit in the forehead with a dozen hardcover books makes up for it.

The pixelation forum has been down for a few days now. I know a few AGSers frequent there, so I thought I'd just ask here if anyone knows what heppened to it?

most of those people probably are children...

Or adults who don't have jobs, or friends, or any concievable reason to continue living. Seriously, have you ever met a hacker in real life?

No?

That's my point :b

You may alko want to add noise.

Noise filters are the devil.

I think that would be a great idea. Right now there's not official location where we can share complicated scripts and quickly look them up for reference. I think lots of people, including myself, would find that useful.

Isn't Mpeg already supported? I always thought you could use any format you wanted as long as you had the codec for it..

function object0_a() {
 // script for object0: Interact object
MoveCharacterBlocking (CIRCUM,287,165)
Wait (5);
}

EDIT: You also forgot a semicolon. It should be MoveCharacterBlocking (CIRCUM,287,165,0);

Those weird colors are from converting a true-color image to high-color. Try converting the image to high-color in your graphics program using dithering.

I prefer Dr. Van Nostrum

I graduated in 2004.

Actually, the color reduction in Photoshop is much better than in Paint Shop Pro. I'm not sure about Gimp..

Looks good.

I'm sure a GIF would look a lot better than a jpeg, though. Just as long as you save it with something other than MS Paint.

So if I would put an adventure on CD-ROM (Or DVD-ROM, who needs multiple discs anyway ;) I only have problems with save game?

I think you should have read the earlier posts more carefully  ;)
Just install the EXE on the hard drive, and set the DATADIR variable in Acsetup.cfg like Chris said. That solves the saving problem..

QuoteSprite manager now remembers which folder you were in before when selecting new item graphics.

Woo!

The pants and shirt are way too dark, at least on this light background. Other than that, it looks great.
