Can I become an honorary Scottsman? Before you answer, see my post at the thread with members' photos at general discussion - page 26 for original me  ;)

As to the guild - a good plan for those who want to make a team of few people for games development. But consider one thing - do not allow it to seal you off from the community! Don't allow the guild to be more important than a real person who is not from your team.
I think the idea just assembles a team which will make their own games... It'd be good if the guild wouldn't be hermetical but also provide others with advice.
I think a good idea would be guilds that would take their time also to help others - test their games, give them advice, take concern of their projects if authors want the guilders' help.
My general idea: let guild be a place  where people can go and find someone who thinks their projects are good and is willing to help them. And if the author comes for that advice and follows it - making something really worthy - than he gets the guild's seal of approval and indicates in credits that he got help from the specific guild.

Drivers... good thing you're from Australia, that way you've got no problems with the left side of the road.
In every big city drivers are hopeless, I think.

About blind man visible... I think better option is doing this game first person perspective (hide player in room option).

Thanks. I'm completely new to scripting, so I suppose I'll have more questions when I check on that one.

I have such a problem:
Player goes to room A, talks with the NPC (I'll call him Boss).
Some time later Player talks with NPC in room B - this triggers a diferent dialog with Boss from room A than the first one, which leads to an animation of Boss leaving room A (so the Player can search the room)

How do I script this change?
I hope I describe it understandably.

The thing I don't like in PS - I have it for now but don't know how to use these different opions. It all seems so complicated.

Well, yesterday I came to this forum for the first time and not from my computer. I didn't check the date and I read the first page, but didn't have time for the others. Now I feel embarassed  :P

Well, it's Ashen.
#190
Well here goes me, dressed like Scotsman (although I live not even close them).

I wonder what you're gonna do to that one.

Thanks QuantumRich. That link seems to be working just fine (In 6 minutes it'll all be here. Here! And then I will rule the world! Hahahahahahahahahaha!  := )

Thanks, guys! That should help me a lot when I switch to PS.
#193
Now I really feel like a fool  :o
#194
Well, I didn't check the date, but I've seen it's on the 11th page so it must have started long time ago... I thought there's nothing wrong in telling something to Chris though.

Here's what you're supposed to laugh at:

I'm thinking about putting it in the game announcements and if I do, you will see more of this rubbish at the appropriate thread.
I know I should resize the character.

You'll get soime solid laugh.

Well, I'm doing my first game with... Paint. I don't rip any sprites or backgrounds. I do everything myself. It looks crappy. The best thing is that I have Photoshop 6.0 and should have used that instead, but now I don't want to start everything again. And I'm not very familiar with the Photoshop either.

Well, Help me please!

I'm looking for The Uncertainty Machine and Adventures of Fatman. (The Home of the Underdogs link to Fatman worked, but I got a CRC error while extracting).

The Rumpus Room / Re: How did you find AGS?

Well, I found AGS while searching for free adventure games. Thought it'd be nice to make one myself. It was just about a month ago.

I feel something like... honoured to post just under CJ (Yeah, I know how it sound.). Well. I'm a real newbie. I think my AGS is ver. 2.6 (I can't check now, cause I'm not on my computer). It's sad the program is going shareware and I'll have to stick to my version. Nevertheless it's life and you need something from it CJ. Best of luck with it.
