I'm raising my hands and legs in application for SHLAG! Guys, I fear in about twenty tyears this technology will be so advanced people will start using it as commonly as cell phones today. There will be no restricted access because of the demand in society. And slowly we'll start to rely more on the chip in our brains than on the brains themselves.

I hope you meant putting it on your head, because I can't imagine putting something in your head with no harm. None the less that's a huge step forward. But I fear that technology could be used in wrong way.

We would become machines slowly. And think of someone using this to monitor our thoughts.

Cyberpunk world, here you come.

Looks promising. I like the new outfit.

But Darth, maybe the character could climb the tree? Of course that might require some changes in the trunk.
#87
I mean rather the ones in the middle tree. They are not bad, but when I look at them my eyes slip.

The clouds really look better now. Please do something about the leaves, my eyes get hurt looking at them, they seem a litle blurry to me and it's obvious their pattern is too simple. Also I would advise you to put a branch on the right tree, it looks too straight up to me.

Not sure it's a solution, but you could try opening games page in defferent window while staying on the forum.

I haven't finished my game yet, but I try something close to this: Concept, developing the story, starting graphics, getting puzzles and slightly changing the story, making all graphics and programming, making/adding music, adding sound effects.

An option about how William knows about the other killer:
Aklin never knew the real killer and never wanted to catch him - he had a man with similar MO who could take the blame of his own killings. But the real killer was in rage about Aklin duplicating his method. He followed Aklin to kill him, but William did it first.
In rage real killer hits William, leaves him some nasty bruises. Leaves him some kind of message that it is not the end. That there will be more killings. Because he wants William to know that. And even wants him to think maybe his daughter was killed by that man, not Aklin. Maube he finds adrenaline in a race with an ex cop. ("I'm better than you")

The ship is inflatable - he puts some air into it so it gets huge and pink and rubber.

Oh yes, I do lack detail. In that matter I agree with you and not gonna get it sophisticated later on - that wouldn't match.

No, I didn't ask for any details on police work. I like Police Quest though I remember some technicity. I played Pleurghburg too. And those empty backgrounds are the corridors. You don't get much stuff in a corridor, do you?

I'm using Paint and that never occured before.

Now it happens everytime I make a BG of the exact size. It's vertical size gets wider than it should be.

Yes, the story is quite solid. I had much time to invent it. Some BGs are quite empty, but the other I'm working on should be more filled in.

Finally I announce my first project and it's still far from being done.

Brief synopsis:
You are Jack Tesco, a detective from homicide squad in Los Angeles. One day you are assigned to investigate a murder of a fellow policeman - a detective from the narcotics division. You find out that his death was ordered by some strange and powerful character known to you only as DM. Trying to uncover a mysterious plot that led to your colleague's death you find obstacles even at your own precinct.

Some screenshots:

Progress:
Story: 90%
Graphics: 30%
Scripting: 10%

Due to some personal problems I have to estimate the release of the game for some time next year.
I'm aming in producing a demo soon. Ã,

Yes, I tried it windowed. Doesn't work. Something is wrong. But it's in one BG, at least for now. Hopefully I'll just have to remake one screen only. But I would like to know what went wrong.

It's not about monitor settings. I don't know what's going on, but looking at it I think it only shows at one BG. It never occured before, acted out just today. If it's only my computer then it's OK because anyone else could play with no problems. But I don't know if it's only my computer  :-[ And I don't want to change res because it means starting all over again.
