Truly awesome guys, can't wait to play it. I'd help with some voice acting if you want. :) And if it weren't for IA I'd help with sprites aswell but can't have everything.
#22
Look, the game was made in 1988. Years and YEARS before 9/11. It would be silly to remove that puzzle, plus it was one of my favourite scenes in the game. Not in a sick twisted way but it had alot of tension and plus killing the terrorists was my favourite.

Anyway, I say Yay put that scene in. Just because something serious happened in a similar incident in real life doesn't mean it should be removed. If someone played the original and got upset there is nothing you can do about it, you're just remaking it so leave that scene in it :).

Yeah I did mean the title. Thanks, nevertheless though.

Might I add, this looks excellent and cannot wait for the finished product. :)

Not the greatest achievement, but I've added your game to Fanventures. If you have a better logo I could use please tell me. :)

Demo? Argh thar be no demo, matey. Yet the winds are blowin' south to perhaps a trailargh!

Translation:  Demo? There won't be a demo. Yet we may have a KQ3 trailer.

Haldo!

KQ3VGA is very very near completion, yet we still need your help to finish this sexy game.

Well we at IA are on the prowl again to pick up some hitchhikers only if they'll do some certain deeds for us. Ah nevermind I've already written this out on the site, I'll just C&P it here.

IA are always on the look for new people to help us make our games. As you can see, an extra page titled "Join Us" has been added. If you think you've got what it takes, please direct your mouse to that page, fill out the details (along with a portfolio) and we'll get right back to you.

We're only looking for:

Sprite Animators - People who can put time and effort into animating sprites into alot of detail. If you're sprite work is very good and you can create and animate bigger things then please do mention that.

Background Artists - Although most of our backgrounds are done, we still need someone to add extra details. Small things such as adding books or fixing a few things up.

Dialogue Artists - We've already got the main NPC's dialogue portraits done, yet we're looking for someone who can color in bigger things such as cutscene art. Along with slight animating if possible. Our main priority!

If any of those areas apply to you, apply to us! Please fill out the form here.

Fanventures and Fangames.co.uk happen to be affiliated with each other. :p

(Last time I checked with ED anyway)

I've also added more games to the database as per requested, including LSL2, Project Katrina and SQ: Vohaul Strikes Back.

QuoteMe too, I was really excited when found it five years ago.

That is the AGS homepage site (yay I'm clever) so yes it does have a database full of games. But this is purely concentrating on the fangames based on Sierra. Not every fangame, just Sierra fangames.

Quoteso you're telling us that all adventure game studio games are purely based on sierra games? sorry I think you missed the point of the site. they only have sierra fan games, such as kq 1 and 2 remakes by agdi, and some of the agi ones.

Thank you Cosmicr. :)

QuoteAw, no LSL2 point and click. Larry Values!!11 I'll contact them.

Ah, the one that got away. I'll look into this.

Sorry if I'm not aloud to do this here.

After a 2 years, Door of Destiny is finally open! Yes I've been lazy. Yet it isn't Door of Destiny no more, that ship has long sailed. Instead of tarnishing my love of AGDI, I'll love every fangroup. Presenting, Fanventures!

http://www.fanventures.com/

This is one of a kind, Fanventures is a community based purely on fangames based on Sierra's products. There's numerous content such as interviews, reviews and previews, even you can submit your own! Stick by our forums and make this community huge!

Peace! I'm out!

A leaving gift from IA.

I present to you... CAMELOT!

Featuring myself, 1eyedparrot, Blackthorne, Klytos and the rest of the IA crew, we get together and sing that classic song.

Enjoy, the lip sync is abit off but it's watchable. Made in 10 hours.  ;)

Since KQ9.org was lucky enough to get an exclusive new screenshot just to prove we are working very hard on this project, I thought, well, it's a public forum, how exclusive can it really be? So presenting a new screenshot, it's a snow scene! Yes that's right... a snow scene!

Edit: Oops I could have just edited the post above, didn't realise there was 2 pages otherwise I would have seen it. Ah well, they're completely two different subjects anyway.  :=
#32
The one and only.  ;)

Hey didn't realise you were the same Bernie from Fallen Angel Ind. This game looks great and good luck with it. It's great to see Klikkers using AGS aswell. Keep up the good work.  :D
#34
Saying this however, we are looking for sprite artists to help us with this project, and if possible, maybe Quest for Infamy aswell.

If you are interested please reply in this thread or drop a message at our forums, of course with a portfolio of your work aswell.
#35
It will be a 1:1 remake meaning everything is staying the same, well with the exception of course being updated into Point and Click and VGA graphics, not to mention professionally updated music. This shouldn't effect the production of QFI, at least I hope not, that part isn't really my forte. Thanks for the comments though.
#36
This looks cool, keep going with it.  :=

Hi,

Well we do have everything covered, Programming, art, music, ect. His project looks great and we do encourage him to complete it, these are two completely seperate projects which will not interfere with each other.

Cheers,

Woah! I wish there was a world where everyone used the same resolution.

Hmm... you don't have any toolbars open on the side do you, possibly favourites open or History. They tend to make it weird looking.

*bUmPz*

Just to let you know I remade the website. Well actually I remade it a while ago and forgot to announce it here.

I noted that people weren't really fans of frames so I removed them, and suddenly I removed the whole site altogether and remade it. Fun lil world isn't it. And before you ask I made the little corners, sides, ect, in paint, I didn't rip them. :D

Tell me what you think. Criticism is greatly appriciated, bad criticism is something I will loath you for.  Jk. :P

Ahhh... I crapped myself with relief. Man don't scare us like that, you're a rather twisted (but lovable) git! But don't know what happened at the AGDI forums, I mean WTF? If it's there odd way of an April Food's then surely they'd have put it back to normal by now.

Damn I hate April Fool's Day.......
