I have a legal copy of Photoshop only because I could get the entire Abobe package really cheap through school. But for companies and proffesional artist paying the full prize is not too absurd. They live on Photoshop. It is pretty much the industry standard.

Besides it doesn't seem logical that they would spend so much money on tracking people down to see if might have an illigal copy.

Completed Game Announcements / Re: Heed

I've said it before and will say it again: Your games are very nice but if you would spend a little more time on things it would be epic! But fair enough, short games are so much easier to finish.

When you download the latest version of AGS from the site it already includes the demo game.

If you look at the frequency domain Mona Lisa long enough you can clearly see a lizard man

this might work:

Changing the editor icon has no effect on your games whatsoever though.

There was such a small article in the Dutch news paper that I thought it must have been some sort of cruel joke. But it's all over the place now.

I really like the theme but I'm too busy to enter. Such a shame.  :-\

It's a good idea to do some MOD work to get experience. Game mods are often lacking good programmers. Doing personal (and a little more proffesional) projects shows dedication. Not to mention that working in a team on something interesting is loads of fun! If you are looking for a job in the gaming industry, you must have a portfolio. Even if you are applying for a programmer position. And joining a mod is a good way to build one.

General Discussion / Re: AGS virus wtf??
Tue 09/06/2009 08:43:15
This is probably caused by AGS doing something AVG doesn't like. I think you should be adable to get AVG to trust AGS. It could also be that you are having a virus and AGS files got infected.

I'm only using Opera because Firefox wouldn't update on me. And now I like Opera better. Not much wrong with Firefox though. I guess all these extensions could be helpfull. The only usefull one I see in your list is the weatherfore cast. But as I would go no matter what weather it is, I would rather not know lol

Looks pretty cool. But you might want to change the character around as he is almost exactly the default Poser guy.
#457
notice how he looks much happier with short hair.

I'm almost certain that I have seen those characters before. You have been posting on Polycount haven't you?

Anyway, this looks very solid. Clean modeling and nice cartoony style. Me likes!
