Messages - Buckethead

New version is up:
Same link as before

Changes:
- Debug mode removed.
- Objective of the game is now more clear.
- Objective is now made clear, even if you skip the intro.
- One hotspot is now bigger so you should more easily see it when hovering over it.
- Credits now exits to the main menu.
- Credits now include SSH for the Credits module.
- Credits are now skip-able.

There are some other small issues I might fix but that's for later.

Nice idea. Reminds me a bit of Monster Madness from Cinemassacre. Maybe some inspiration could be gotten from it:
http://cinemassacre.com/category/moviereviews/monstermadness/

They have reviews of a wide range of genres and time periods.

Cool idea. I started and abandoned a lot of projects back in the day. I don't think I still have any files from them though. Wait, is that from MAGS game from the current MAGS?

Thanks for the feedback Slasher. Whoops forgot about debug mode, I'll remove that. You are right about the cutscene cutting the off the objective if you skip it. I'll try to find a nice solution for that.

To answer you question:
Spoiler

This is the result of how I programmed this. You can't actually put any items in the cauldron. When you have all the needed items, the final cutscene plays. This might be confusing so maybe I'll change it.

My game is done:
AGS database link

The game turned out quite short but I'm glad I've set a goal for my self and followed through. I hope you enjoy it and please let me know if there are any issues.

My game is playable from start to finish. Still need to write some responses and polish some stuff. Hopefully I will have time later this week.
Here's another screenshot from the game:

That looks awesome Buckethead. (nod)

It's so pretty I actually thought I was in the Guess The Game thread by accident.

Wow that's quite the compliment. I hope you will enjoy playing the game also.

I'm working on an entry as well:

I have one puzzle that is finished right now. Still need to do a few more. Also everything is very bare right now, no reactions or hints yet when you look at something. So still a lot to do, but I should have a game with a beginning and an end before the month is over.

I think that's how it's intended to work. Here's a line from the manual:

QuoteNOTE: This command is not intended to change the view temporarily to perform an animation. If you want to do that, use the LockView command instead. This ChangeView command permanently changes the character's normal walking view.

So I think you are meant to use LockView instead.

Hello,

I've been looking more and more into using Blender to create graphics for AGS games. To automate a couple of things I made a python script that rotates the camera around a character and renders animations for each side. Since more people on the forums use Blender I thought it would be nice to share the add-on. For now you can get it from Github:

https://github.com/Sanderdl/AGS_Tools

Please let me know if it is usefull and if there are any features you would like to see added.

You are right. I knew it wouldn't take long for someone to guess it. Silent age has such a distinct art style.

This went really funny actually. I was looking at your screenshots and felt they kind of reminded me of Haven. I figured it would be a good show to post next, when I guessed on right again. Then I looked closer and saw it actually is Haven. :-D

Next one:

Not sure anyone else has seen this.

Is it that Batman Telltale game? By the way, why is his head turning so unnaturally far?
