@Vulcan - Captain Disaster in Death Has A Million Stomping Boots is the game that is currently in production, that this thread is about, and that those videos were from.  It will be a commercial release.

Captain Disaster in "The Dark Side of the Moon" is a recently released freeware game - based on the same character and with the same style of humour, but otherwise unrelated this Stomping Boots.  You can get it here.


With Stomping Boots we're currently nearing the production of Act I, after which we will begin an intensive phase of beta testing.  Act II is already half-done, as part of it is the section of the game featured in the Demo.

This looks really interesting - all the best with your funding campaign and development.

Mine can't recording sound.

Sorry, I'll have to let LTGiants2000 answer that - I've never successfully managed to get my video capture to record sound either!

I like the Speeder Showroom music a lot, but I have to admit it - I'm actually addicted to the marketplace music, it's brilliant!

Have you carefully looked at the StarGate Manual?

There's a code you can dial to get the "Last Dialled" SGIP - it's on the right-hand first page you turn to in the book.  Once you've entered this code and hit the orange button, it changes the icons on the Stargate.  Once you have those, you have to use the key on the next page of the StartGate Manual to find the right code to get back...

That just leaves mkennedy's riddle still to get then I believe - no idea what it is myself!

There was also "Manhattan Dealers" I think, but to my memory it looked nothing at all like that.

Can you PM me about some of the more inventive puzzles you're talking about?  (I have an idea what you mean but it may be something that just never occurred to me!  )

in time - did you (and others?) also realise that if you found the walking just too slow / annoying, you can change the game speed as well?
