Those buildings are "eery"... they look just these ones:

Think you need some other design buildings, other than some boxes that come out of unimaginative minds from the start of the 70's... (laugh)

Oh, it's not your shape Hobo. No worries there. :)
It's the Pacman by Anke on the top of the page. (laugh)
#5545
Ahhhh geeezzz... now I need to think of something else for the round shape. :~(

That's amazing!
I'm always amazed to see what you guys come up with! (nod)
I'm working on something too... but am not sure I'll have the patience to get it looking as good as that! (wtf)

Actually, I thought it was the same game and that for some odd reason you posted it twice (like one just said Futurama and the other had an extra title to it)... :-[

I think in this case, and since you posted them on the same day, using the same thread would have been neater, as nobody would have then thought that it was the same game and not just double posting. Which in my book would have been a better service to both productions. Have a feeling that's why no one replied on the second thread... I know I didn't cause of it.

Uhm... now... where to get a babysitter around x-mas time??... (laugh)

>> Larry "accidentally" open the cabinets and take the picture down with his extra arm...
>> Jimmy quickly excuses for Larry's clumsiness and checks for anything interesting in the cabinet or behind the picture (and discretely pockets if there's anything).

Ah! No wonder he's been so quiet! :)
Love Futurama, so looking forward to this one! (laugh)(nod)

@Ykni, that's one lovely BG and very playable! :-D I don't think however it's a valid entry to the competition, since it was already made before the competition, as you said it your self.
I'm however not the host of the competition, so am sure WRK will give you a valid answer on this point. (nod)

Looking great... but is there a reason why he's cock-eyed (hope it's the right word)? Is that an intended characteristic of the character or unintentional?

Based on what IMDB's synopsis of Open Water, am going to guess that it's not...

I did however seen that movie (or a documentary) not too long go, cause I remember that scene. But what I can't remember (if I ever knew it, as I often tend to start watching movies half way on TV) is the name of the movie.... (laugh)

EDIT: Okay, after goggling "movie 6 friends jump on the water and can't return to the boat" <- what I remember as being the plot, I found this link: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0470055/reviews... And this leads me to conclude that the movie is:

So great guess Quintaros! (nod)

General Discussion / Re: Videos in AGS

My experience from Goat Herd and the Gods videos is that they hack and run very slow on my computer when run in AGS... however I have no problem running the same videos with Media Player or VLC on the same computer... :-\

Ooops, sorry, been somewhat away from the computer most of the week. :-[

Anyway, great entries everyone! :-D

1. Hobo - Awesome sprite and great ingredients! (nod)
2. AnasAbdin  - Again spot on with the ingredients.
3. Mandle and jwalt (can I give half a point to each? (laugh) ) I just can't decide which is better and/or more important.

Sorry cat, love the sprite, but I also don't drink coffee, so it must not be an essential ingredient (to me at least... now if you had drawn caffeine - like in a cola - things might have been slightly different). (roll)

On that note, if you seem to get "loss of performance", then run Winsetup, go to advance options and increase the buffer size. (nod) Wonder why it's still set at a default of 20Mb... if you don't have 100MB free to buffer, then go get a new HD or do some "house cleaning". :P

I thought that game length was measured by how long it takes to play from start to finish when you know exactly what you need to do to finish it. Because not all players play the game the same way or take the same amount of time solving the puzzles.

So for me, it the number of rooms, puzzles, dialogues, etc. don't matter that much. If you had a walk-through (and every one who made a game has it in his head), how long would it take to complete the game?

For instance, mine took me +/- 20 minutes to complete... and I didn't bother reading the dialogues with depth... so am counting my game as a 30 minutes length game.

I'm afraid none of the clues helps me... :(

ROFL.... Found the last one! :-D:-D (laugh)

EDIT last one: Finished! ;) :-D
My only complain is the stupid inventory window being vertical (but that's likely the engine that is faulty, not your fault!), otherwise great game. (nod)
