Concept: Cassiebgs (seriously, it's almost like a 3d-ish version of one of the rooms in the catacombs in King's Quest VI--at least, that's the kind of vibes I get from this one)
Playability: horusr (feels like a classical game, as in from the good ol' days.  And so much stuff to interact with.)
Artistic Execution: lorenzo (seriously, he should team up with someone who's good at coding for the upcoming MAGS--his artistic style and a friend's coding would make quite the entry!)

Nice, Horusr!  Even in 8-bit style (that's my guess in what it is), that's a good isometric room.

And even with what you drew, you got me beat.

I was watching a couple of the Game Theory episodes (mainly FNaF related ones), and it had me thinking...

What if some Adventure Game Studio games made appearances in Game Theory (or Gaijin Goomba's "Game Exchange", or "The Science Of...", or other related channels)?

Something to think about.  That'd make a great challenge to go along with MAGS... make up a REALLY cool game with fun references (cultural, science, story-telling, etc.) that would DEFINITELY get the Game Theorists' attention.

So I ditched Skype in favor of Discord.  (I heard of hackings of my friends on Skype--some even had accounts deleted from those scummy hackers.  I also heard Discord is more secure.)

BTW, this is the first time I attempted something isometric.

So, I made something simple, yet cool--drawing inspiration from the old NES game "Solstice."


I call this "Forest Clearing Near a Fortress Wall".

I hadn't decided a time period (medieval, Renaissance, heck it could be a ruin discovered in modern or futuristic times), so this could be useful in ANY isometric adventure game.

From the bravest hunters of the universe, we bring you the most desired beer in the galaxy! Forget dehydrated water!
Caution: several customers complain about burps causing mild quakes.

Remember! Never drink while riding your Falton Sand Skimmer!

Well, anyway, I quickly made a cool label.

Remember the Dragon's Breath from Quest for Glory 1?  Well, let's just say it now has some competition for "deadliest drink".
