@Dream Kinda reminds me of either one of the castle rooms in the King's Quest II remake, or Castle Borgov in Quest for Glory IV.

Besides, since MAGS rules include using "all-new assets" (except perhaps music and sound fx), I figured it'd be a great way to set a debut for the character, and then some of those assets can be used in a future non-MAGS game. (Yeah, that's the ticket!)

So anyway, I plan to start writing some ideas down this coming Monday... give me a little time for brainstorming.  But I do already have in my head the main idea of the plot for mine--basically, this angel character I have is trying to cheer up a really sad young boy, and thus"rescue the young child from his own despair", in some way (I'm sure that'd fit the rescue theme).

I'm willing to be a proofreader, or perhaps help bounce ideas on refining a story.

[Edit] Actually... maybe, just maybe, I might be able to participate.  Since I've been gaining adoptables from the art website I'm on (er, long story), I can use MAGS to have one of my new characters star in a game for the first time.

Specifically, a cute angel cake skunk gal I have.

Finding a way to mix her "heavenly sweet" nature with the MAGS theme of "rescuing"...

Wow!  That treehouse is spooky (but in a cute way)!  It almost reminds me of the Ghoul Kids' Pumpkin Treehouse from King's Quest 7 (and that's a good thing, I assure you).

Just curious, could this also apply to a Stamina and Mana meter, if one were to go for a Quest for Glory style game?

Oh how I wish I could take part in this and other competitions, but since I might be getting a new job soon, I might need to bow out of this and others for a while.

Sorry, I just couldn't help but do a Fly reference.

[Concept:]

Concept: Blondbraid (kinda gives that underworld (i.e. realm of the dead) vibe).
Playability: gameboy (maybe an abandoned bar might have some items used for puzzle solving)
Artistic Execution: Nixxon (hands down--has almost the feel of a good Halloween cartoon, or like Ooga Booga Land from King's Quest 7)

Here's my entry--I call it "Alien Cleric".  Basically, it's a reptiloid clergy of some alien religion (I'll let game developers decide the specifics of that alien religion), holding a torch to begin some sacred ceremony.

Yeah, Frank definitely has that "Oh s**t!!!" look on his face.

For Cassiebg's dilemma... maybe make up a separate webpage on your personal site for showcasing them?  Just my suggestion. 

Glove & Boots recently started another activity for their channel called "Paradoke" (a portmanteau of "parody" and karaoke").

For this, appropriate for Cinco de Mayo (thought I'd post this while it's still said holiday), they did this number, which is a parody of Kokomo.
