Thank you for such greats as Monkey Island and Loom, LucasArts.  You shall never be forgotten.

I'm curious... with regards to AGS.

Which AGS user has so far made the most games overall (either some or all games by himself, or some or all games with help from a team...)?

And which AGS user has so far made the most games in a short amount of time (alone or in a team; by "short amount of time" as in between, say, two to four years)?

I'm just curious, because I want to know who amongst us has proven themselves the most die-hard!

Yep, you heard me right!  The old-school NES game of DuckTales is getting a revamp!

It's called DuckTales Remastered!  It's coming Summer 2013!

@Eggie: *holds up the Sarcasm sign from Big Bang Theory, concerning some of the cartoons--though there were a few gems among the junk*
Oh, and yeah, a Freakazoid Adventure Game might be good... maybe in the style of Torin's Passage, but modernized in a way.

It's been YEARS since I've seen this show.  However, I remember one episode where the fat cat in Riff Raff's team made a giant robot out of the Junkyard trash.  He used it to drive off a gang of cats using the junkyard equipment.

As for Heathcliff, he usually had to catch mice but didn't like to do so.  His favorite activity was beating up on the dog next door.  As for game quality, I'd say that it would be best if he has to deal with stopping a burglar.  There was an episode where he was sent to a shrink and listened to everything he said which allowed a burglar to get away with stealing from the house until he came across Spike.  The burglar kicked Spike which got Heathcliff angry as he said, "No one gets to do that to Spike but me!"

The fat cat on Riff Raff's team is named Mongo.  Hector is the tall brown cat, and Wordsworth is the white cat with headphones who always talks in rhyme.

Well, I gotta admit, having a game with Riff Raff and friends might be a good idea too.

I know we've done one on TMNT, but what if there were more 1980's and 1990's cartoons made into AGS-made Adventure Games?

I just thought of that while listening to the intro theme of the ol' Heathcliff animated cartoon:

So let's take this as an example--what if there were a Heathcliff AGS game?  Or maybe an AGS game with the Cadillac Cats (maybe Riff Raff and the trio have to rescue Cleo from some baddie).

Just something to think about for a future AGS project where a lot of us can work together on it.  ;)

I found this very beautiful song.  A fan took the Erana's Peace song from QfG1, remixed it, and even added her own lyrics to it.

Even those who are not fans of QfG, this song should just tug at your heartstrings.

I think I may have to give this a whirl.  Um, is there a walkthrough as well?  My philosophy on these games is "Know before you go".

Um, I can be a proofreader for the dialogue text, if you need one.  :)

Wow!  So far so good on this!  Good luck with this sequel!

Nice!  And Azure did a great job with the voice here!  Hope that Heroine's Quest keeps up the great standard (if not exceed it) that Quest for Glory set.

Man, the detective needs to get lessons from Trilby in dealing with anxiety!  If he gets a heart attack, he'd probably "know the name of the King"!

Ever since I saw DeceasedCrab on YouTube do a Let's Play of "Trilby's Notes", I can't help but think of the X Days series every time I see a horror-related game.  Now you understand why I always associate the X Days series with any new horror adventure game that's on here.  And likewise here.

I wonder if Cabadath/the Tall Man/the Prince might make a cameo in this game?

AGS Games in Production / Re: Abra Cadaver

Rather interesting old-school-style game.  I look forward to hearing the progress.

Oh, and a little side note, I think I remember a Powerpuff Girls villain called Abra Cadaver, who was a zombie stage magician.  Just saying.

The Rumpus Room / Feb. 6... my birthday!

Yep, tomorrow (Feb. 6) is my birthday!  I'll soon be starting my next trip around the sun!

So... for those of you who have completed some AGS games, how would your character(s) celebrate birthdays?  Just something to think about.

I think I'll give it a whirl.  Let me see how well I do as the Geek.  Once I record the test sentences, I'll email them to you for your consideration.

Yet another shooting--this one in Connecticut.

27 killed (including the gunman, who, I think, took his own life).  But 20 of the dead (i.e. the majority) are KINDERGARTEN CHILDREN!!!  This makes the act even MORE horrendous!

Honestly, what is the USA coming to?!?!?!

Congrats on the new release...

Eh, one of the characters reminds me of Bobbin Threadbare from Loom.

Congrats dude... hope you post some nice wedding pictures when the big day comes.  ;)

Thanks for moving it to the correct spot, AGA.

I guess the Pick of the Month needs updating, at least, because at least by seeing the new Pick of the Month, I can be reassured that there are new games being added... and that there is activity in the site.
