I already searched if this thread has already been posted, and don't see it.

Also, this has to do with the AGS site, so I'm sure it fits here--but if it's in the wrong spot, I do not object to this thread being moved to the correct location.

Anyway, the games list on the main site needs serious updating--it hasn't been updated since July... so it's four months overdue for an update.

EDIT: You've been through the eunuch archives I bet.

Oh, boo.  Eunuch/Unix... REALLY bad pun, Vertigoaddict!

Okay, so I was looking through some videos on YouTube and saw a video showing the intro to the AGS game Nelly Cootalot.

That gave me a bit of encouragement for whenever I finally get around to doing more work on my first AGS game.

See, what caused me to delay it for so long is the main character (a female) has a long dress over her and I thought I was going to have to put MANY long hours of drawing her legs under her dress before drawing the skirt part over it.  When I saw the Nelly Cootalot video, I saw I could just draw the girl's arms swaying to imply walking.

So, to the guy who made the Nelly Cootalot game, thanks for giving me the courage to persevere!

Anyway, I need to finish up a Game Maker project, but heaven willing, after that, I'll continue the AGS project.  :)

Um, I'm trying to download the RAR file, but the link doesn't work.  Is there a "mirror" site for this?  I really found this interesting and wanted to have this.

Yeah, I am reviving an old thread, but let me say in my defense I really thought this was a thread worth reviving.

I knew it!  I KNEW it had to have been inspired by Cabadath!

Well, I do know of Anvil Studio for midis... not sure how to help you with other music styles though.

With the Gangnam Style Craze out there, wouldn't it be funny if the Gangnam Style dance were made as some sort of Easter egg in an adventure game... like maybe a future AGS game (if nothing else, as an inside joke)?

It's blurry and looks kinda shite?.. Did I win?

Well, I tried to resize it due to size limitations.

Got me a new avatar, peoples!

I made it through this nice site my girlfriend recommended to me.

As for the ponytail... yeah, I was trying to go for the Zero look (as in Mega Man X's buddy).

Congrats!

It was something I requested the animator.  I'd have shown the actual embedded animation, but couldn't find the code to embed stuff on forums.  Which button do I press to embed something in the forums here?

Edit: Nevermind, I found the code by using the Quote button in one of the other threads that had embedded video:

Ninja Turtles (the 1980's version)... my favorite villain is Baxter Stockman (in his mutant fly form).

And for 90's cartoons, you can't beat the intro to Sonic the Hedgehog SatAM!  Anyone wanna do the honors of posting the theme song video for that?

I wasn't sure where to make art requests (since the critic's lounge seems to be only for critiquing art already made, and competitions/activities is as the name implies), so I'm guessing here.  If it needs to be elsewhere, I'll allow the admins and mods to move it to the correct spot.

Anyway, I had this funny Space Quest idea involving a meme.

Have a pic of Roger Wilco in a cool looking small ship, and have Wilco DO A BARREL ROLL!!!

Ha ha ha... yeah, THAT meme!

Oh, for all those who still hold to the hoax conspiracy, I highly recommend they watch the lunar landing special on Mythbusters.  That should dispel the hoax theory.

Yes, let's keep this thread on topic.
