I came here today to check for this april fool. I can't believe anyone fell for this one... Though I guess its easier to believe this than Google's TiSP

Yep, I can handle .ZIP files all right, but it's not working without the use of the SCUMM engine. I am not downloading that! But anyway, the file I downloaded had SCUMM already in it.
Quote from: Nefarious on Sat 24/02/2007 20:48:52You can, otherwise you wouldn't be in windows right now.
I don't know actually, I just can't open .EXE files.
QuoteHe's right, Norton is rubbish and takes up far more resources than nessasary, and restricts far too much things.
. Take a computer class, you obviously have no idea what you're doing.

My least favourite was in Indy 4': FoA, (in one of the paths) where you had to find the stone (don't wemember wich stone) from the streets of Monte Carlo. You had to remember twoFrench street names, in the corner of these streets was the stone.
See, if we're talking Fate of Atlantis, my least favorite was fumbling about in the dark trying to find/remember various hotspots trying to get a generator working to turn on the lights. The only thing that saved this from being a game-breaker was the LucasArts system that displayed the name of the hotspot your mouse was over, so at least you weren't just clicking on a black screen.
Still obnoxious, tho.

Zenwalk 1.3 alpha ISO has just been sent to testers. This snapshot will be tested over 15 days, and will be followed by a beta release, before it is declared stable.
Main enhancements are: kernel 2.6.13-mm3; a large number of software updates (see current changelog ); new Xfce filemanager with Desktop icons and new artwork (see the screenshot); new graphical configuration tools (videoconfig, localeconfig, netpkg-menu) with GTK frontends; and improvements in the installer - new "post-install" stage to autodetect the video card and configure system language locale.
People wanting to test the snapshot can send an email to the development team that will gladly send back the download URL. More reading: recent reviews are available here at Distrowatch, and forums at Slackplanet.org.

Yeah, even though it's just one cloud which has been cropped and mirrored three times.

Actually, I did have an april fools thing planned for the site, but unfortunately it wasn't something I bothered backing up and then when my hard drive crashed last week it was lost.
I did think about some sort of post like last year's, but that one worked rather too well to the point where everyone would have been expecting it this year. So yes, AGS has passed fool-free for one year
Still, I hope you all had some good fooling one way or another. I did post my housemate an eviction notice, and take a hip flask into work and serrupticiously sip from it all morning, so can't claim to have missed April Fools completely

I run Debian/testing and the editor and even games work with WINE (20050310-1.1).
Edit:
I just haven't managed to get keyboard input working in games (in WINE that is).
Here is my WINE config file if you're interested.

I think the world should just move it an hour forward every year, but not back again. that'd be interesting
