The Task
The goal is to create a piece of infinite pixel art based on this video:Doodling in Math Class: Infinity Elephants
The video will hopefully answer most of your questions in regard to how one could achieve this. Its really quite simple.

I prepared an example:

What you'd want to do it create a piece of pixel art at its largest size and then begin to draw smaller versions of it down to infinity.

The Shape

The shape can't be rotated, but you may extend its reach as much as you like, or make it smaller, as long as the top line has that same angle and the bottom line stays flat.
You may remove the lines in your final post if you wish.

The Prize

Nice! Would of been better if you used ajax to send the moves then update the move without reloading the page? :P.

I agree about using ajax, I imagine the large mounts of pageloads might actually be bad in general terms as well... Don't worry I will take it down. it just happened to be the most interesting thing I had around. I will have something better in the future.

Having a page there has made me want to use it for something, ill see what I can figure out. I'm thinking game... of some kind.

Just realized I got approved, so I slapped something up there.

I had a hard time playing this game. That opening is really quite awful. I don't know how I figured out how to load the boat supplies. The hint in the book said "-bad supplies" and when I go to the computer terminal and do the text parser, it wont take the command "supplies" a listed command mind. I have to somehow understand that I had to go to the boat status screen and then type "load supplies". There is very little reason to do that, and I only did it because I felt something was wrong with the game.

The combat system didn't feel right at all. I felt very subjugated by it. I didn't feel like I knew what was going on during combat.

It's a bit frustrating to write abut the game because I really feel like nothing works at all, sorry to say, and if I where to get into it id be here all day.

I did get this by the way:
Quotein Global script (line 1917)

Error: SetActiveInventory: character doesn't have any of that inventory

I caught that trailer on the front-page of gametrailers.com and I was surprised to find myself interested in it. Your doing some good work Mr. Harvester.

Wait!
My second one wasn't an 'official' entry, it posted it just for fun and for encouraging others to create one and post it.
I thought your second one wasn't 'official' either?

I didn't remember your second entry not being a real entry, sorry about that. I don't know how I consider my galaxy entry. I'd like it to be a real one but I don't think it does too good with the theme overall, but it fits in an awkward way.

I forgot to vote as well so mine goes to NickyNyce.

this is a great resource for different pixel-techniques:

The odd thing about art is that its largely from experience that you improve and only general advice will be useful to you. That thread is good for that, general advice that is.

I've got another one, the ultimate killer:

the galaxy!

The terrible destructive power of this weapon boasts the following:
magnetar blasts
hyper-velocity stars
rogue black holes
et cetera.

This was a tough shape to work with, so I ended up using a flat perspective for this one.

Its a laser derringer. The green capsule represents the ammo.

I played around with a new animation and I came up with this.

Based allot on how Paper Mario was animated where the feet just swivel past each-other in a silly way.

I played this and enjoyed it a lot.

At first I felt that the controls where a bit clunky because you had to use the explicit verbs to pick actions, so something like opening a door, or using an item goes from potentially being one-click actions to being three-click actions.
Because adventure games are fairly slow-burning experiences overall, I think it ultimately adds something to have such deliberate controls even though they are not streamlined.

Well done ghost.
