Shall we do the hotel-formally-known-as-Mercure bar? Seems to be where most people are staying.

If anyone is around Thursday night and wants to hang out, give me a shout. Having something to do on Thursday night will help me get over jetlag!

I'm down. I remember the pub being super crowded last year on Friday night. The hotel bar seems like a better choice.

Being chased down the Hudson River by a sea monster. As one is.

Seems like the best solution. Thanks CW!

Hm. Interesting. I can confirm this has never happened to me. I use hundreds of short ogg sound effects per game and I have never added silence to the end. Maybe I have just been lucky?

Depends what you mean by action. There are action charged scenes for sure, but there's no arcadey combat sections.

A little scene I implemented yesterday. Lots of things working together.

Pardon if this is in the wrong place. I looked in the manual to see what the keyboard shortcuts were (as I vaguely remember there was one to switch between any script and header file) and I saw that the list was really out of date. It still lists control-G as a method for opening the Global Script, for one thing. I searched on the forum for an updated list but there doesn't appear to be one. Does such a thing exist?

Thanks and apologies if this is an obvious question that everyone but me knows the answer to. :-[

I noticed this was marked as "solved"? What was the solution?

Isn't directdraw kind of unsupported these days? I always steer people away from DD for that reason.

The module had this in the header. Before I commented it out, I got the error message that I needed version 3.4.0.3 or higher.

Quote
#ifdef AGS_SUPPORTS_IFVER
#ifver 3.4.0.3
#define QueuedSpeech_VERSION 4.0
#define QueuedSpeech_VERSION_400
#endif
#endif
#ifndef QueuedSpeech_VERSION
#error QueuedSpeech module error: This module requires AGS version 3.4.0.3 or higher! Please upgrade to a higher version of AGS to use this module.
#endif

Thanks for this, CW! Although I have one question. This version seems to be categorized as version 3.4.0, but isn't it technically several versions past that? I have a module (the QueuedSpeech module) which requires "version 3.4.0.3 or higher," and the game will not compile now.

edit: I have commented out the commands in the module that check for the AGS version number and the game compiles fine now. But still, would 3.4.0 be the correct version number?

I arrive Thursday morning. Leave Tuesday afternoon. See you all there.
