The Scottish Game is dead! Long live Shardlight!

Back home and back at it. AMAZING time, as per usual. So great to touch base with everyone again. Thanks to Mark, Becca, Berian and everyone else involved!

Two games about robots and we never made that joke. I feel ashamed.

Yeah it only took 9 years and 13 games to finally get out of my bedroom. :)

Today we finished recording all of the VO for the three player characters! We're using a real studio this time - one with a booth and a mixer board and everything. A far cry from my bedroom and audacity, that's for sure. I am quite proud of how it's turning out, so I thought I'd share some samples.

Cassie: Yes you missed a checkbox on the installer. :) Sorry about that.

Plane and hotel booked! Getting there on Thursday morning so if anybody is around Thursday or Friday, do let me know. I'm staying at the Bridge Hotel close-ish to the event.

Hi all! We're starting the audition process for the game. If you live in the New York Tri State area, feel free to jump in! The details are here.

Booking flight/hotel now! As always, I'm down for a talk/panel/whathaveyou.

So should there be another thread about this? With the proper year? :D

Yesss. Thanks, Mark!

WHoops. Slight factual error in that podcast. Jennifer Hale played Dionarra in Planescape. Not Fall-From-Grace!

The final game will be well worth the wait. I say this with no bias whatsoever. :-D

Bit late to this discussion, but I will definitely be there as usual! Any idea on when you'll know the location? I'd like to try and organize my plans early this year.

from the screenshots, this game looks so good!

Q: will it, once finished, also be published on steam (and/or others like GOG for ex.) or just by Dave's shop only?

Steam has already given me an App ID for it, so I think we can safely say it will be on Steam. GOG as well.

The music is from the pond5 website. You have to pay to get it without the audio watermark though.

The game was just officially announced today with a proper press release and everything.

Which means it's time to launch the teaser trailer!

I can't wait to see what you'll come up with next

Heh. Neither can I! :)

We're publishing two other games next (Grundislav's "A Golden Wake" and Technocrat's "Technobabylon") but I'll be working on my own thing in the interim. What that will be yet, I am not sure!
