Daniel Kaplan from mojang is livestreaming your game now! http://t.co/WH5Ul0wd

Also Marcus Persson (Notch) twittered:"holy moly, I need to play that game. Stopped watching the stream to avoid spoilers :D"

Congratulations I think you got a few extra sells from that :)

AGS Games in Production / Re: King's Quest IX

Excellent! It is strongly forbidden in my religion to play electronic games with a resolution greater then 640x480. Now I can finally enjoy Kings Quest IX without getting blind!  :)

Would it be possible to run this on the arm-derivative of Ubuntu? I'm fairly new to linux and I've pre-orderd a Pandora (http://www.open-pandora.org/) and it would be amazing if it would work on a handheld device.

If I have understand everything correct it would be possible if the libraries that are needed is available for ubuntu-arm. So which libraries do I need?

I thought about this game a couple of days ago. Today a was a bit sad, I had a few pancakes, played some ukulele and went here to find this awesome news. Food, music and good news. I feel all better now. :D

Amazing work you've done there! The second level was really slow on my aspire one so I guess that you would need a really fast computer if the games get more complex.

If you need any more support just let us know. By the looks of it this might not only become one of the best AGS-games ever but perhaps even one of the best adventure games ever.  :D

And Dualnames is right, Laptop-Mode is a planned option.  I hadn't mentioned it because I implemented it early on, but haven't been maintaining or testing it.  I will try my best to have it included in the final version.  It will make a double click into a drag start, and click again to drop.  It will need a lot of testing to make sure it feels right.
You better get it ready, I've paid for that feature!  ;)

Congratulations! I'm downloading now. I've been waiting for this game since around the time when KQ1VGA was released. That seems like ages ago. This must be the biggest and most ambitious fangame project that has been released I think. So to be able to pull this of its... I'm speechless. Big hugs to all of you at AGD!

Woho! Congrats on the completion. Downloading now.

I have checked the link, but can anyone explain me... What is this? ???

Well, there is you're problem, you actually have to read as well. ;)

"Glumol is an adventure game creator that allows people with no particular skills in programming to create their own game, like the LucasArts ones."

I second the pcx-file import. I'm trying to make a RON game and all the backgrounds are in pcx-format. Sure I can convert them but If it isn't too much trouble I'd like AGS to have this feature.  :D

I have read the manual and havn't found anything about this, so I can only asume I'm doing some really stupid mistake not even worth mentioning in the manual. I tried using paint.NET and making a backgrund, saving it in 8-bit png (I have also tried 8-bit bmp). When I try import it in AGS I get an error telling me that the background is in high colour. If I change the game to 16-bit I can import the background but when I choose walkable areas I only see a blue screen instead of the image. I also tried to import Reality-on-the-Norm backgrounds, both 8-bit and high colour and I get the sme blue screen.

So please tell me to RTFM (again) or help me out here.

EDIT:I'm using AGS 3.0 btw

Dixon: You made a very valid point about using a laptop, so so today I programmed in a Laptop Mode option.

Amazing support, and I havn't even bought the game yet! ;D

The game looks amazing and the stm idea looks very very interesting.  :o

I play my games on my laptop so I guess the drop and drag-inventory thing will be hard on my small touchpad if you have to keep the button pressed while draging an item. But I guess I can make an exeption and use a mouse...

Your artwork is a huge improvement. If the rest of the game is as good as the graphics then this will be an amazing game for sure. Good luck!
