Thanks for the idea Khris,

I was long time doubting about this, I might make a "polished" version and see what people like better..

The longer I look at your version, the better I like it over my own.. altho the whole idea gets more like a flyer like that.. With the holes it fills up the t-shirt more imo..

What do the rest think? Cutting away the holes or stick with the original?

Hello all,

It's been a while since I posted here, since I don't use AGS anymore,

Of course tho, I'm not standing still.. I'm busy with my own t-shirt label and this topic is about the design I'm probably gonna release the upcoming summer..

Apart from the model of the shirt (which you obviously can't see now, I can tell you it's gonna be a slim fit shirt tho) and of course the font which is just "bought" from the Internet..

Im curious what you guys think of the location of the words, the line itself and the used colors (its printed on a black background since the t-shirt will be black).

The idea
The whole idea about the design is a catchy design about my hometown Gorcum.
Also, the design is dipped into a kinda underground scene-ish "street"style, altho not overdone and maybe overseen by a lot.

The design
The design is based on simplicity, catchyness and made for young people (15-30) who are selfensured.
It's supposed to be a shirt in which you could go out in a club.

Altho the design may look very quick made to some of you, I've been perfecting it for the last days by changing positioning and all every time.. so please don't think of this as a rush design.

I hope for some good critics and maybe improvements before I'm gonna let it print upon my shirts.

The design:

Thanks in advance for looking.

Oh man, you still rule InCrea!
Imho, as a normal gamer, you don't have to change anything to make this an imba gamescene. I know KhrisMuc is right with the viewing point, and all the others sure have some nice comments, but don't be thát kind of a perfectionist, just head over to the next scene and maybe in a week or two take another look at this one what to change.

Best regards.

Impressive!! I especially like the lighting style.

Well thanks vor helping, this topic can be closed out.
#6
Then what could it be.. its a real printscreen screenshot loaded in photoshop.
#7
QuoteHowever, this looks worse than what I've seen on even the cheapest of LCD monitors. The image in the first post, is that a screenshot, or did you create that image to illustrate the problem?
Its a real made screenshot, my graphic card i rlly dunno :S

GIP thread what??

So.. in other words.. I could use the recently added graphical filters for AGS? How do I activate them?
Tbh.. the annoyness stays.. especially when i try it out on small screen again and get confronted with the major difference again..

Yes it is about the bluriness indeed..

I understand it a bit more then, I also tried out some other low res AGS games and they all look shitty.. so it is about my LCD monitor.
My desire for a fullscreen pixelated 90's game is not doable anymore?. since most of the people will ave LCD screens in the near future.

this sucks! /cries
dilemma..

New edit: Or wait.. I just tried 640 x 480 and it all sharpenes up of.. might be a solution..

Hey Ildu, long time no seen, seems u know something about this tho.. its a 17" screen i have..
#12
Hello boyz, I bought a new (EDIT: 17" /EDIT)LCD screen and tried out some game i worked on, I was making this game on resolution 320 x 200.. It looks very vague and overzoomed.. Heres a screenshot.. how can I change this back to sharp pixelated like it was. Im using resolution 1280 by 1024 right now on my screen and this is how my game works out:

Any ideas how to solve this problem, cause it's nasty!

A bit off-topic, but maybe nice to say is..

Flukeblake, your making much progress in graphical art!

&

Krysis, I am well known of your great art, tho this character is so simplistic and easy-drawn (which is, in my opinion, great for a cartoon hero)its really great for a game-hero! Big potential!

Thanks, well Roxy did most of the work tho.

Most funny is.. the one whos sending it is a vip.. Harisson Ford, I think you guys who are making the Indiana Jones game are the cause of this, Harisson is angry now cause you didnt buy the rights  ;D

I agree, it does look amazing, very high.. i like it.. good piece of art.. tho.. maybe you could make the colors a bit more.. less girlish.. just use a color filter or something with PhotoShop.

I really like the style and all, tho i gotta say.. imo its rather sick to make a nudity of a 12-year old girl..

why dont you try out this talent on a nice 24-year round-booped woman.. cause really.. you do got the talent.

EDIT: checked out your website, there are some nice 24-ish sexy women there.. thats good :)

Generally, the girl doesn't look bad, but there are some things to be improved,

Im too lazy for a paintover right now, but show her the ponytail at the frontview behind her ear and let it fall from one side.. if the frontview walk, make her ponytail be from left to right behind her ears.

good luck!

I think seaduck added just the touch u needed..
