My vote goes to Jack's "Snapped at just the right moment" one.

In New Kid Gotta Steal Somethin', Logan gets bullied into stealing a costume from a theater-actor's house.

Art and animation by VampireWombat.

I'm close to being finished. I'm really appreciating VampireWombat's graphics work.

Yo, New Kid Gotta Steal Sumpin
As with a lot of these pitches, I feel this entry gives me a good idea of the setup for the story, but very little of what the game is actually like. Is this a Maniac Mansion-type game where you have to creep around a spooky mansion, or what?

Panteufelhelden: Swiping Satan's Slippers
So, this is my entry. I quite like it, but I wasn't quite sure I managed to convey the multiplayer gameplay concept in so few words. The title is a pun in German. (A play for that all-important German vote!)

Yo, New Kid will be a February MAGS entry, so we'll see...

I voted for Panteufelhelden: Swiping Satan's Slippers. It seems like a great recipe for fun and comedy.

I had a tough time deciding between TMA's Duck Hunt scene and Jack's Star Wars scene, but I'll have to vote for the Star Wars scene.

I've spent about six hours so far with this game and am loving the beautiful art and music!

Did someone want to make a thread in Completed Game Announcements?

Kholat is free on Steam right now.

Edit: Axiom Verge will be free on the Epic Games store from Feb 7 to Feb 21.
It's not free, it's 80% off, which may be cheap, but not free.
It was free when Khris posted.

I might try to do a four-room game in which a kid has to break into an old man's house and steal a costume and wear it to entertain other neighborhood kids. The old man was once a local-theater actor, so that's why he has a bunch of costumes.

Ego in Planet of the Apes is a short and tasteless point-and-click adventure with profanity, sexual "jokes", and crude "humor".

Thanks to Crimson Wizard, Slasher, and others who answered my beginner technical questions.

Well, this is it, hope it works fine. Alice in Wonderland and Maniac Mansion crossover. Had to cut a few things and, unfortunately, it's not as "zany" as I would liked it to be, but, oh, well, what MAGS game doesn't end up with less content than originally planned after all.
Many thanks to VampireWombat who did a lot of the art, specially all the Alice sprites and walk-cycles (I'm terrible at it), and also gave me cool advices for the coding part.

I hope you all like it. It's pretty short but there are different ways to complete the game, each one with a different ending, so try to get them all!

I just played through Alice in Maniacland. The title is great, and I like how the title screen looks.

Spoiler
Being able to switch from tiny to monstrous is a fun idea and a great game mechanic. The Cheshire Cat animation is cool, and he has fun dialogue. I got thrown in a cell at the end. I'm curious to know what the other endings are.

I'm pretty much finished, just trying to add in a couple little animations.

But first, I'd really like to hear how many people want to do the author-guessing game after the voting, and how many would rather just jump straight to announcing the identities once the winner is picked.

I'd pick jump straight to announcing identities.
