I just played through the game and wanted to say I really enjoyed it. Nice work!

Sounds fun! How far along is the game?

I saw this come up on Twitter a couple of days ago - oh my god it's absolutely hilarious. The last few minutes had me in tears of laughter!!!
The game is admittedly absolutely ripe for piss-taking but it does seem like he enjoyed it, and he left a lovely review on Steam - so that's nice!
I love how this game was made 5 years ago but still pops up now and then in stuff like this

A friend just tipped me off (based on me being in the credits for the Scrolling Module) that comedian Limmy has just streamed a playthrough. (Lots of NSFW language)
For people who don't know Limmy, he's a cult comedy hero. But he's known for extremely taking the piss, which from what I've seen he doesn't seem to be doing too much here. It's 12 minutes before he actually starts playing.

Glad to see someone noticed the MI reference CWThanks for the kind words.
I was recently interviewed on the This Week In Video Games podcast, I go into detail about our influences, the process behind creating Guard Duty and talk a little about the industry. You can listen here:

To get back to the topic of fun games with female heroines, I thought I might share a hilarious game I randomly found by chance that features all three Star Wars leading ladies,
it's called Darth Vader Hair salon and it's just as weird and funny as it sounds, probably the funniest fanmade star wars project I've seen since the Death Star Cantina sketch filmed with Lego figures.

Thanks
I finished it a while ago, and actually even sold it once...

I'm wondering why the lack of interest this month. Is the theme not inspiring? Is everyone on vacation or something? Is everyone burnt out on making MAGs games?
I can understand the feeling burnt out option, since that's how I'm feeling. Especially with no one officially making a game and Slasher only being a maybe. There's a certain energy seeing other people posting progress on their games.
I see 4 possible ways for me to continue with my game. I could just make it more or less how I planned at the beginning of the month. I could convert it into a Maniac Mansion Mania game. I could use the newer ideas I've had the last week or so make it a longer and possibly more fun game. Or I could just put in the least effort possible. Each option has its own merits.

Maybe insert the phrase "glass of water" somewhere in your almost-finished game and submit it for March MAGS?
I don't think that's what "using premade assets" means. People can't just enter a game on which 90% of the in-engine work was already done. It refers to stuff like reusing character sprites from another game if your game is a parody/sequel. Or perhaps using stock images from the internet for item/background graphics.
I don't think it applies (or should apply) to things like code for puzzles, rooms in which walkable areas, walkbehinds, object placement, hotspot interaction, and the like, are already completed.

Good games this month. Fun to play and made good use of the theme. Voted, but it was a tough decision.
I loved this theme and gave my best effort in ages at actually finishing a game in time. I didn't announce it because my track record is so terrible lately. Ultimately, I ended up with about 5/6 of a game when the deadline caught me. No surprise there, I suppose, but it was fun to try my hand at AGS again after a long time away from it.
Nice work by both teams. No matter who wins, it will be well deserved.

Played and voted! I like how you both interpreted the theme differently but really funny.
New Kid Gotta Steal SomethinSpoiler
The character sprites are great and the costume hilarious but the backgrounds felt a bit empty. The puzzles were mostly trial and error for me. It felt a bit unfinished.[close]

Great graphics and hilarious costume. The puzzle with the lock was actually quite difficult but I liked that. In the carriage scene I was not sure if I should collect the small birds or not. It was clever that I had to use my weapon to slay the dragon. It's a pity that it was a bit rough around the edges with missing interaction responses. The voice acting added to the fun. The screen with the hammer that was shown between scenes was great.[close]
Regarding both games:Spoiler
I thought it was a funny coincidence that both games had scenes where you could die with auto-save.[close]
