Can't say I've ever had one. But that one was pretty hilarious... I can just picture that conversation between Kramer and Elaine (not the adventure game character)...

But there was that time when me and some friends cracked up whenever we heard the word "sophisticated". That was odd. And we couldn't concentrate and didn't get anything done for about an hour.

I already purchased the DVD, and I'm afraid I didn't get the corrected version; I don't particularly care that much about it, to tell you the truth.

General Discussion / Back to the Future

Well, this year is the 20th anniversary of Back to the Future and I just got a DVD of the trilogy, so I thought I'd bring up the subject. What do you have to say about the movie?

Subtopic:
You know you've watched Back to the Future too much when...

1. You keep crashing into manure trucks for no particular reason.
2. You watched the Lord of the Rings for the sole reason that the kid from the cafe in the second movie is the star (obscure).
3. You experience deja vu every day.

More please!

[sidenote] Calvin and Hobbes is the best.Ã,  Pessi, I'm sure, agrees. [/sidenote]

Oh yeah! If you haven't read Calvin and Hobbes, you haven't really read a newspaper comic.

General Discussion / Good Idea, Bad Idea

Welcome to the coolest game since "Chatterbox": Good Idea, Bad Idea! The thing is to come up with a good idea and a bad idea, usually related and/or created for humorous effect. So, Let's Go!

Good Idea: Always having your gun out in Half-Life.
Bad Idea: Always having your gun out in real life!

And just for fun:

Not in PDF anymore, now HTML! Hooray!

Plus, it's on a wiki, so I can work on it wherever I want to!

Back to Hitch Hikers...

If Douglas adams wrote the original script, then it will be fairly OK. We can only hope they

Spoiler

1) Keep the bit with the bulldozers and "Yellow"
2) Have him actually wear the dressing gown throughout the movie
3) Try to have a NARRATOR! This will really allow them to include the funniest bits of the book (like the comparison form the Encyclopedia Galactica to the Guide about alcohol)>

Five novels, actually

So, when the movie comes out, Don't Panic, maybe it will be decent.

Maybe. Since I just read the books and already I think I'm a purist, although I always have really been about books.

How could I do that? Maybe you would like it in, say, Word format???

Or like, PDF?

Well, I'll see what I can do...

OK, it's now in PDF.

What's with the In the Darkness, Dreaming thing? Is this a text adventure and that's a room name?

Anyway, the story looks like it's gonna be great. Keep up the good work.

Hi, I'm working on a novelly thing called Inexcusable Fan Fiction (yes, that's the title). I'd like you to look over it. It is here:

The first one looks a bit funkier than the second, but it has a better style. See if you can make it again with some of the perspective corrections they suggested.

I'm a newcomer, but, oddly, the first game I ever played in AGS was Rob Blanc 1, and then 2 and 3 (only the order I started, not finished). This was even before I played the demo game!

When I saw the first one I thought, Wow! Answers Already! I'm still finishing it, though.

Looks good, He-Man, but please post it again under a better format, like the ones I talked about above. Thank you!
