You don`t have to use Wine for running the engine. There is a port for Linux/FreeBSD and you can get it in the top post in this board.

Yeah. I`ve made some tests with the example programs in the wxWindows packade. I`ve found that some widgets like the floating window (GUI properties) doesn`t work correctly with GTK. I`ll test GTK2 tomorrow.

What happened to the editor port? Do you need help?

After a week downtime for my new LAN host I`m finally back here. They promised no more problems.
I hope so!!!

After some months without a PC and Internet now I`m back with a new PC and LAN internet.

So I have a question - how I can test the speed of my internet connection?

Hmmm. If you make so many changes in a minor release I can`t imagine the changelog for version 2.6

* View 1 can`t be used for Idle, Thinking and Blinking views.
* The "No custom properties are defined" message box doesn`t look too good with the only word "editor." in the second line. Can you edit the message like this:
"No custom properties are defined.  You will now be taken to the custom property shema editor and you will have to make a custom properties." Or something similar to extend the message.
* When you click "Fullscreen preview" in the Room Editor one line in the place of the taskbar remains. (One gray line in the bottom part of the screen)


And finally one question - what happened to the Linux port of the editor? I can help.

I`m leaving for about 15 days. When I come back I will finish the new "Beginners Help" site for AGS and I will announce the new project of Slaveino Studios.

The site is under reconstruction, but I`ve uploaded the design. Do you like it?

I had the idea to collect everything and put it on a PHP enabled site. But I see that Dorcan has made it so I think we should use it.
Somebody has to read the topics and build one clean text from them. And I think we should have categories in this page - "For beginners" and "For advanced users".

What do you think?

If you want to change the icon for the setup program put SETUP.ICO in the game directory.

I need one logo for the new design of Slaveino Studios. The size is 338x49 pixels. It should have one S made with a strange font and "Slaveino Studios" (without the quotes) next to it. Both should be in bright blue. (HTML #0088FF)
