my Ishmael is some sort of a sequel/prequel it's got the same set up as Ishmael (a long conversation) but the content is very different.
I haven't read it yet I'm reading 'the man who grew young' also by Quinn now wich is also very good  
but not yet as good as Ishmael though

I also read the 'tao of poo' it sure is amusing to read

I've been pretty absend for a while I know, things just weren't going that well so I took a vacation, got some rest, I'm feeling much better now, and thanks so much for actually missing me  

anyway, the book is about a man who replies to an ad in the papers saying: "tutor looking for pupil, must have the earnest desire to save the world" the man makes finds out that this tutor is a gorilla.
a gorilla called  'Ishmael' the gorilla is extremely wise and teaches us about our culture about how we think we know whats good or not, the book teaches us that however we might think we're turning the world in a paradise under our controll the facts point the other directoin: we're destroying the world, why? and the alternatives you can read in 'Ishmael"

I'm depressed,
not just down, I seriously very depressed.
and normally I wouldn't share this kindof stuff with you guys but I've had enough worries today I just need somebody to listen.

I won't be able to attend mittens
I flunked school, failed almost every test
my girl has been 'occasionally' kissing my best friend
all my other friends left for brazil and won't be back for 11 months
I'm all alone
how could this all happen in one day?
why does virtually everything I do go wrong?
it's been proven over and over again.
I've been down pretty much all my life it's just the way I am,
but this...
everything I loved hates me all of a sudden
and there's no one to listen to me.
I'm going on vacation tomorrow, me and my parents, my brother and sister are on some other vacation somewhere having fun.
life's all I have right now, and all of a sudden I've got to love it.
sorry if I sounded melodramatic.

well first of all,
Andaill you're so right, but so is DM being right doesn't solve the problem but atleast we're alot closer to solving it, I guess.
second,
I surely recognize alot of what andail said,
I've been quite an pesty little n00b, very anoying the least.
but (like barcik said) I've matured.
the main reason I was angry at a time and practicly biting your head off was because at that time, I felt misunderstood, I really did! I felt that all these people (who I really liked) weren't giving me the chance to show them what I could do.
and everybody was just disliking me while I really tried to show that I'm a real nice guy (atleast I think I am) that I'm keen to learn, and that most important of all I had so manny stories to tell, so manny ideas to turn into games.
ofcourse there where a few great guys who gave me that chance back then thanks for that, you know who you are
but as magintz said I think the problem lies in not knowing the person who just posted a maybe stupid post.
