what do you folks think? I only used a pen, no pencil, so it's kinda sketchy, and the colors are very, well, Mspainty, but I like to think I did a decent job, but please feel free to critique! I'm entitled to it hotdamnit!

ah no need for this post but to reply your critique,

the motion blur isn't an effect or something it's there 'cause we were rocking, no stopping that, plus I like the blur it adds depthto the whole if the images were Cristal clear we'd get mixed up with a boring wedding band or something

also like I said I can only work MSpaint and it will only take you so far... I'm not lazy, and I'm certainly not trying to get others to just make me brilliant artwork, believe me I tried to make this image work time and time again, but like I said paint will only take you so far... what do you do? you turn for help and guidance.

as for the font, yeah it does look kinda like it's in serious need of inspiration, I'll work on that.

I'm really in a tight spot here!
this is a promo for my (very pretentious!) band
and since my skills don't reach any further then MSpaint (you're welcome  ) it looks pretty shitty!
though the idea is kinda neat!

there's "GARDEN" wich is our band name then some red arrows pointing to the band members, but paint just can't make it look awesome, the effect I was going for was 'painted on' arrows like it was real paint brushed on in quick big strokes, any of you fine fellows care to help me out on my predicament?

any other add-ons to increase awesomeness are ofcourse welcome!

sorry to bring up an old thread but I added another song to our myspace!
it's called firesong (yes! the cheesyness continues) it's a sweet song and I had fun writing and recording it.
it's fairly sloppy but most of it was done in one take so go easy on us!

I talked to Bart, one of WCS producers, while helping to move some props and there are still lots of opportunities for worst case scenario so don't give up on it yet!

but money isn't really an issue it's amazing how much one can accomplish with loads of energy a set mind and a good plan!

I don't know how many people saw 'a cock and bull story' (haven't seen it? buy a copy asap!) but I was thinking of transfering that amazing concept (or format) to a zombie-short!

also I was thinking, what makes a good zombie movie?

-cool zombies
-loads of gore
-kickass zombie killing weapons
-apocalyptic atmosphere (debatable though)
-spinechilling one-liners!
-out of the box filmmaking!

all these things don't call for a big budget at all!
they call for innovative thinking!

so again, anyone willing to give it a crack, I'll open a thread of the dead and we could get the creative juices flowing, help eachother along the road of our own zombie masterpieces!

back in filmschool I noticed creativity peaked when everybody brainstormed about each other's projects, not as collaborators, more like colleagues...
