Kyraal: Honestly, I wasn't taking physics into consideration when I drew it. ;D

SteveMcCrea: True, you can avoid combat, but I mean as in when you're discovered by a guard, he doesn't attempt to apprehend you or ask you questions like
“Alright… explain yourself!”
But more or less goes into
“Alright! I'm goanna open a can of whoop ass on ya!”
And even so, you're given certain articles like swords and broad head arrows (the black jack is just fine) but all I'm trying to say is that my game won't involve that.

While I'm here I may as well give you an over view of the story…

It's the year 1510, Florence, Italy, you're a crook who's lived a life of stealing and doesn't have a lot to show for it. You want to expand your horizons and see the world, but you're a little short on cash to fully enjoy your stay elsewhere. But the local lord is holding a masquerade ball (perfect opportunity) and this being your final job, why not go big… really BIG! Although getting inside is a different story…

I know it's not original, but it being my first game, don't expect much.Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Ã,

Thanks! At least a now know I can draw on the computer (churning out more graphics even as we speak) for my new game.

OSC: To tell you the truth I was partly inspired by a real jewel of a game “Thief”, but I was slightly disappointed about how combat oriented it was, not that my game is going to be a “Thief” clone, but it will involve the usual thievery.

Tanker: I may, but I'm not aiming for a violent game.

Kyraal: I will take your advice and put some object under his arm, actually his arm is not leaning on anything but is supposed to be bracing himself for another blow, but not every one knows that, or I may just add a shadow underneath them, for if a draw his arm leaning on the ground that'd make it anatomically incorrect.

Thanks and sorry for the fuss, my understanding of this thing called the internet has improved!!Ã,  :)

EDIT: Sorry

“Also, you have to have some web space to which you upload your pictures.Ã,  I believe there is a thread listing in the critic's lounge, where you can find such sites to which you can upload your work”

Please give me the name of the thread so I can deal with it, and I'll just go off and make adventure games, for I feel I'm testing your patience.Ã,  Ã,

Although this may sound amateurish, how do you post pictures/photos into your post? Me being a Noob and all.  ???

Shattered Sponge is right, I found that the best anime animation examples I've seen, were in “Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade” if it wasn't for the fact it was animated, you could've sworn they used live film.

Okay, first of all,
DG, what does political satire have to do with it? I'm just curious.
Dart, why is my name always associated with monkeys?
Mr. Hyde, I don't know whether to take that as an insult or a compliment…

By the way… I give you guys 10/10 for originality!  :)

Just to get the ball rolling, have any of you made any games that need testing or consultation for artwork or animation?

The Discworld MUD is alright, but I think it loses some of the humour that's ever present in the books.  :(
