I actually use a 17" CRT at home, with only 1280x1024@60Hz max.
My desktop is set to 1024x768 though, as 60Hz is not good for daily consumption.

Also, the panel I use at work is a crappy 15" LCD, with only 1024x768@60Hz max.

Full HD is actually not that common as people think.

I'm just curious, so I'll ask here fellow AGSers (especially native English speakers).

How do you pronounce UFO?
1. Just spell out: U-F-O
2. Yu-Fo
3. Others.

People here always use 1, but in some places like Japan and Taiwan they prefer 2. I just want to know how westerners in general pronounce the term.

As far as I know the engine can still only display characters #0-255 in a font file, so there is no easy way to do this, except workarounds such as using images, etc.

BTW, what is AVGS?

Will Cedric have voice acting in this game, as horribly annoying as in the original game? This will make this game MORE AWESOME.
IMO this was the biggest reason the CD talkie version of KQ5 was a million times worse than its floppy counterpart.

Why would you want to delete DX11?

Did you mean you tried updating DX9 but the installer refused so because you had DX11, or did you really tried running the installer?

As far as I know DX11 and DX9 are completely different things, and DX11 is not a substitute or upgrade of DX9. That is, programmes that need DX9 will need DX9 installed. So, DX9 and DX11 will co-exist in the same system. For some reasons when M$ released Vista, it was bundled with both DX10 and DX9, but that DX9 included was heavily outdated(or so I has heard), so one needs to update DX9 manually for newer drivers and missing components in order to run some DX9 programmes. This stupid tradition had somehow been followed by Win7.

Considering it's a game about competing to win $$$ in a game show (I think), I just make this up:

Neat! I wonder how the password puzzle is handled (ignoring AnasAbdin's comment). IMO the way it's handled in the VGA SCI remake is one of the worst change done to the game, not to mention that every other thing in that remake is also horrible though, especially the music(right; the next-to-none music in the original version is much better than the boring jazz tunes in the remake) and graphics (I want to puke... At least keeping the AGI graphics in this project should make it a much better world....).
