Nope, as I'm not interested in new consoles anyway, the newest console I ever own is just the PC Engine.

I think it may be possible to port AGS to teh crap box and may give options too, but that's not really important IMO. I think it's more feasible to have a NES/Famicom port of AGS!

Seriously though, real native linux port (including editor, etc) and mac port can be cool also, but since I don't have these systems it's none of my concern. :p

I'm here for quite a long time here, and what I had done is quite obvious -- none, and it is quite depressing that I just hang in here without having my own life, so (no I'm not kidding) it is time for me to leave...

... until Tuesday ;D , as I'll leave for Macau for school visits on Friday and Monday, so see ya lat0r!11

I think in general performance under 640x400 and 640x480 won't differ much, so you can choose whichever is more appropiate. The mode 640x400 was there because it was an integral multiple of 320x200 which was the "standard" low res VGA mode which AGS original support. Using 640x480 has an aspect ratio of ~1:1, which most people may find more comfortable to work with, so it's a more popular choice.

For 800x600, it's due to personal preference (Idon't prefer it though), it depends on whether you REALLY need so many details in your graphics, as in this mode was just added due to popular request, and would probably be considerably slower on low end computers.

I think that was just using some scripting trick, support for such kind of rooms is still cool, but it depends on whether it's a most wanted feature.

Heh that's the part that most people stuck on.

Spoiler

When you're on the top floor of the Police Station, you'll see a somewhat misleading sign, that is, an arrow pointing downwards by the side of a toilet picture. In fact, that tells you you CAN reach the toilet when you walk DOWN in that screen.

Because I don't want to sign in a geocities or whatever site, I have my page hosted in some good server, just that I don't feel like uploading something to it at the moment (it's other's web space offered to me, I just want to update them only when there're enough stuffs). For Noele's thingy, I'll leave the bandwidth for others' better stuffs, as I know avatar is just some bandwidth eating hog (loaded once whenever someone read a thread with your thread in it), I'd rather have no avatar (not a big deal) than to waste other people's kind offer.

Which you still don't use :P

Actually I used it for one day (I used the unanimated version for a while back in ezboard era), and because I am just using some free image hosting service my bandwidth was exceeded in one single day (that site only allow <5MB transfer/day), so I took it away the other day.

Now back to topic: enter this jam!

No, this is not an entry, I'm not participating this time for obvious reasons (and it doesn't even match the size restriction). I just found a place to post my avatar. ;D
#7576
Hehe okay, new one's up, this one's cut!
#7577
Thanx to all who participated, I like all the entries, it's fun to see that roger monster and crab monster are having the same pose ;) . But there must be a winner...

I personally (yes, personally, that doesn't mean the other sprites are not good in comparison) like it's clean style ;D .

I'm looking forward to the next competition.

In that case check if that GUI is set to something like "popup modal" or "on script", as the game is in "pause" mode when such a GUI is visible.
#7579
I think that's just because it's a game environment, not a full programming package. If many people find it useful, I think this can go into the list, as it's not a difficult thing after all. Currently you can do this via:

modx = y - ((y/x)*x);

to get say y mod x .

I never thought of that, but I think using the parser system may help a bit.
