In case someone couldn't figure it out, that last one was Beyond Shadowgate for the TG16.

This should be easy:

Well... The name of this game had been mentioned before, but was a mistake as that was another game in the same series. Incidentally the abbreviation of this game is... B.S.

Also you can punch and die a lot.

Beyond Shadowgate
Beyond Shadowgate is a PC-E... errr... TG16 game and it's nothing like this (it in fact looks like those Sierra/Lucasfilm Games adventure games).
It's more likely Shadowgate 64.
But anyway, take the turn.

Totally incorrect. They are equal only if the battle ended with a tide. This proves only that c2 > a2 + b2.

Actually anyone can host the Release Something event, but make sure you ask a mod before starting any new event in this section (inherited events don't count, the winner of a competition automatically has rights to host the next round).
Since you asked Ben for this (though it's not official) and a new round of this event is really due to happen I'll just leave it here.

The "virus" thing could also come from those free file hosting sites, which provide a "download accelerator/manager" or whatever link alongside with the actual download link. These utilities are usually advertised as harmless or beneficial to the user, or are presented so it's really hard to tell which is the actual link to the file (in some cases these links could have download buttons much larger than the actual links), but we all know these things are nothing more than viruses, Trojans or Adware.

This is how the Internet works anyway, and people having enough experience with surfing the web should be able to tell what should or shouldn't be clicked. Normally the real file downloaded is safe, but to be sure just install a virus scanner and update its database regularly to minimise the risks.

Well, sometimes people use installers which prompt the users to install stuff such as search bars and the like, which IMO are the same kind of crap and is even more dangerous as it is easy to click through an installation process without really reading the messages.

SPLASH!

Not meant to be serious, of course.

I'm not sure, but I think instead of asking for his own creation he tries to find similar programmes.
In that case there are a lot of such A.I. bots available for download. Two popular examples are Billy and Daisy. I think you can edit their databases manually too, so they also suit the "With a folder within where you could alter the answers and stuff" part.

Aw... Updating the initial post to include the results is perfectly fine, but can you guys not editing out information such as the end-date, etc.? This is for archiving purpose. Now everything is just guess work.
#873
Err... Why is this in the Rumpus room?
#874
Sounds to me a good idea. Just make a new thread with the dimension requirements and set a deadline?
#875
Well, should I just unsticky it and lock it; or move it to Editor Dev. if you people really want to continue with it?
#876
I call it jif and there is nothing wrong with it.

I know it's not it but I couldn't resist:

Super Mario Bros

If you meant the GUI popping up via QuitGame(1) this one is hard-coded into the engine, so it will not appear in the GUI list and is not editable.

I don't know what you meant by it corrupted (could you post a screenshot?), but it's possible that you changed the fonts, etc. of the game and the hard-coded one may not look good with such changed settings.

Anyway, to make an editable and more "professionally-looking" quit GUI make your own custom one (together with the necessary scripts).

That reminds me, that I have the PCE version of Sna... err... CD-Romantic but I never got around to playing it. Maybe I should.
