In my opinion; it is the best to convert the Hints & Tips forum requiring registration.

I think one of the problems with the H&T topic is the multiple topics about a game. Many new members and guests start new topics about the games that had already a topic here (and the problems they ask are usually the replied ones). Membership requirement may help this problem; people does this are usually the ones who are too lazy to search the game's topic first.

How about a rule that guests are not allowed to post URLs or images?

This game had a special place in my childhood memories.

Looks nice.
But did you read the rules? You really should give some information about the game (story etc.)

I can't translate my game!
But I'm sure that I've translated just the dialog and interface texts. Please help me!

I still don't want to believe I have written something such lame.  :-[ How lamer I was...

I have just learned Bryce 5 got freeware; I'm downloading it now.
(I would feel so sad if it suddenly turns into commercial again)

Definitely a Magnum Opus!
*Would be better with sound effects. (like weapon sounds, or the nice M-F words)
*ZOMG; deceiving advertisement! You should feel bad.

I hope, too :D

Spoiler
Please don't start the game without installing the patch

I think horror.5DAS > horror.TrilbysNotes > horror.7DAS   So the constant of yours.

5DAS had a really strong, mysterious atmosphere. Characters, story telling, the mansion itself... Everything was very good. I will be able forget that nightmare bathroom scene in 5DAS so hard.

I didn't get so scared of Trilby's Notes; maybe it was because I had guessed every events in the game (as it was like one of my own horror games). I found the text parser successful, I had to use the walkthrough rarely. It made me decide to use text parser system for my next game.

But I had played 7DAS as just another random adventure game. I don't remember something got me scared in 7DAS.

Thanks :) I think I will use a similar system.

Sorry for bumping this thread...
I want to announce I have started working on a deluxe version. I'm not so satisfied with the recent version, v1.1.
*Some more scenes will be added into the game and the endings.
*Noise effect will be added
*Graphics of some rooms will be revised.

And maybe
*There will be an extra level where you play as Lost One, or the campers.
*There will be a commentary option that shows my own comments about some scenes (like in Half-Life 2: Episode One, or Chronicles of Riddick.)

What else would you want to see in this deluxe version?

Looks very nice! I look forward to play, too.

I've just watched the video.
I'm surprised how easily people can get entartained. "OMG he said d*ckhead, LOL someone's mother is having fellatio LMAO".

By the way he just looks like a past female English teacher of me.

AGS Games in Production / Re: Scene 1 Take 1

Wow, very nice idea! Looking forward to play.

Yes, I know this is just a little template, but I think this template could be handy for the AGSers who wants to add noise effect to their games.

This is the realtime noise effect filter that I have developed to use in LitN 2.

It provides an animated noise effect in front of the screen.

You can also set the transparency and the speed of the noise.

The noise effect is based on an animated and %85 transparent object inside the room.

It is just the version v1.0 for now, I will try to develop it more. (I must confess that I don't know how to make modules yet, I will release a module version when I finish learning preparing modules ^^;  )

All C&C are apprecited.

It seems like Obi has created a new joke game genre :)

This game is nice; but guess it is impossible to finish.
#498
Yes, it is a rule to have 2 ingame screenshots in the thread.

The game looks promising; looking forward to play.
#499
Thanks :) I hope I can release the sequel tonight (I will be going to the vacation just tomorrow morning. With a car. So I will have a real "Are we there yet" experience a few hours later).
#500
I liked the game :D
@Obi: I think you should had stated this was a joke game, so people wouldn't expect it to be a complex adventure game. By the way, would you mind if I make a fan sequel? :)
