Are you going to REALLY disgustingly devour all the food you are given in front of the faces of the givers?
#6
Yeah. The last time I did an IQ test was when I was five. I still got 25 out of 30.</brag>

I'm gonna hafta cut my arms off to fit the role, but from what I understand, they just turn invisible. They're still just as effective.

Stupid shonky gifs.

Well, since noone else is entering:

And the colouring is deliberate, before anyone points it out. It's my "style".

Jimmstein's General Theory of Demotivity:
e = (c(g/2)i)/o
that is,
enjoyability = (characters x 1/2graphics x interface) divided by obscurity
so if you have a game with an easy to understand but original interface, well developed characters and fairly good graphics, and has puzzles which make sense, the game will be good.
if the obscurity is high and everything else is low, eg Captain Mostly, you dont release a demo anyway
This is because in demos the most important things are to have a good interface and well-developed characters in order to get a well-developed feel for the game. Graphics are probably the least important thing in the game, as some of the best games ever have incredibly poor graphics, hence the 1/2.

Jimmstein's Special Theory of Demotivity:

Who cares, only 5 people can understand it.

lol.
"and to any people named annie out there, this character is based completely on you."
i agree with duzz. completely disturbing, but you are yet to achieve your dream. maybe one more completely stupid inventory item would have achieved it. like a basketball, which if you use on earl, eats him.

This just occurred to me -- are you going to do up the old RON characters? I mean, Ohio will be walking around, looking all flashy. The other characters will look like blocky lumps of pixels. Okay, you're gonna have to redo the mayor (for reasons gilbot doesnt want me to disclose) but what about the others?

Good or evil, hey? Sounds like a bit of a 'SOnic Adventure Battle 2' (GameCube) ripoff.

I like it! Its extremely good for a first game. But I suppose you've been working on it for a while. Anyway, good plot, but the puzzles are a bit easy. Maybe make some puzzles to obtain the string and the key and the marshmallow, because it seems a bit weird to have someone else's key in your barn. One bug, though:
Spoiler
After you poison the bear with the marshmallow, and you 'use' it, It flips the right way up, becomes alive, then says 'Grrr!'. Not too hard to fix, just put a 'dead.bear' variable in there somewhere.

by the bug, is that where the walkable areas take up the entire screen, so you can walk straight down and not complete the game?
