Oh I've always wanted to attend one and meet fellow AGSers (even though I've become more of a lurker of late). I would try to attend if in the U.S., but probably need to sit it out for 2024.

I have music audio that I'd like to play portions of, during different times of the game.
For example, play the first 20 seconds of the music then stop.
Later I'll have it start at minute 1:00 of the music and play for 30 seconds.

The only condition for stopping the music is the length of time it's been playing. The manual mentions using Wait(int).

This isn't ideal because Wait will block (from what I understand), Also, Wait() doesn't use seconds but frame/loops (?) so there is some conversion there and I don't know how accurate it will be for every machine.
I also tried using a while loop and checking the channel song position (PositionMS) until a given PositionMS number, but it kept crashing because it said I was stuck in a long running loop.

Is there another way I could go about this?
I rather not create a ton of music clips, but that might be the answer.

That kid looks super familiar! I'm fairly certain Mystery Science Theater did a riff on Santa Claus and the Martians, so maybe this is a MST3k riff too? And that's the connection?

That was a really fun game! I really like the graphics 

But this is MAGS so I will just rush forward blissfully unaware into my instinctive first choice and then look at the game tomorrow and think "WTF WAS I THINKING?!"

I have a shell of a game done (yay!) I'm hoping to have time to go back and add actual walk cycles, animations, cut scenes. So it actually looks like a real game 
And I'm adding an old-school score element because why not.

I talked to everyone and have the broom. I'm able to go to the Madam's office and the Basement. Madam left to call police, so her office is empty. I can't figure out how to move along.

I got stuck though, and I don't know what I'm missing. I'm assuming its me and not a bug:

I found enough clues where I can only go to the stage and the basement. The stage is empty (though he does say Hi to the girls, but they aren't visible). And I can't seem to do anything in the basement. I recently grabbed the broom.

My state is on fire, and without going into detail... I've been having an insane week. Smoke is keeping me indoors pretty much, so I am very very grateful to have MAGS to keep my mind off things. Love what's been done by everyone so far! 

I love mysteries! But I don't have a game idea... yet. I love the topic, so I'm going to try to figure something out. 

The first time I played the final race, I did 'something' that caused it not to do anything once we crossed the finished line. We all just sat there at the edge of the screen.
Unfortunately my memory is bad... but I think I clicked my bike or something instead of just sitting back and letting it go.
When I replayed, I didn't touch anything, and it finished okay. Again, assuming my memory is working properly.
