Best.Idea.Ever!
I had to google that Ed Atlin guy. With that voice, I figured he must be voice acting in some way, shape or form on a regular basis. I think I still have about 20 or 30 more plays to try out.  I'm trying to pick my top 3 combinations.
Oh, and haunting is a good word for the piano music. It totally works and yet it doesn't. My ears just get all confused, it's great.

I just played 'Case of the stolen moustache' and 'Bruce Quest', and so far these are some awesome games!
@Krazy, the voice-acting and dialog had me cracking up. I don't...I mean... just wow.
@yamipanda, I really liked your dialog too. I envy people who can write funny dialog.

@Oldschool_Wolf - Hardcore! Hope you finish in time.

Mine is still in the works, I should be posting soon.

Ask and you shall receive. More Godlike powers, more interactions, more of everything, is in the works.

I'm a fan of Laura Bow and the Dagger of Amon Ra, so I was excited to see this. I like the voicework, it's bizarre at times, but that adds to the entertainment value. I like the animations, and art style in general too. I really get a sense of the characters. And you keep the dialog at a nice pace.

I haven't finished the game yet. I got stuck:

when investigating the murder. I didn't find everything, and I got frustrated and couldn't save :) But I plan to go back to it.

Look forward to finishing the game, and any future games!

Fun! Thanks Emont, and thank you for writing the music. I wanted to use larger portions of it, but the game ended up too short.

Wow! Thank you everyone! This theme churned out some great games.

Oooh fun! I'm in! ;-D

Welcome lisky!  Monkey island is the best :) I hope you try your hand at some games.

Welcome MaryGold! I'm glad you decided to register and join the fun.

Yeah I agree, I think they all fit the theme.
QuoteIt can be considered as the link/relationship between us/our spirit and something higher (nature/universe/creator).

Each one is about a relationship or a link between a character and something higher.

The 4th Wall

MAGS Feb. entry - "Fictional Spirituality"

Have a few minutes to spare?
An adventure game character has a spiritual epiphany, and the player is his God. The 4th wall has been broken.

This is barely an adventure game. Well, barely a game.
Play It! I command you!

Super fun theme!  But I'm out this month. I want to focus on finishing a long-term project.
But I'll definitely be keeping my eye on everyone's progress and anxiously waiting to play the final creations.
A Dali game especially sounds intriguing.

Good luck all!

A lot of fun games! :cheesy:
I especially liked Lema Sabachthani, and how the story flowed. And the backgrounds and music in Symbiosis, and its atmosphere.

Posted just under the wire!

The 4th Wall
Warning: Contains many violent scenes.
If an adventure game character literally has a spiritual journey, then the player is God. The 4th Wall is broken.

Dear MT,
I thought you were a rumor , and yet here you are. I have but one week to finish my game, and this worries me. Also, I've been listening to Wolfgore Show videos on youtube all week, while I work, and I think I've warped my mind.
But perhaps this will make me more creative. Aren't crazy people more creative? Or is it that creative people are mostly crazy?
The car is in the kitchen!

Gotta go, 'night MT and future Hana

^ I agree. Finishing something is the best part I think. And I like the motivation and inspiration I get watching everyones progress.
It would feel weird voting for myself. I suppose I might if I couldn't stand any other game. :) But the odds of that happening are slim.

No worries! Glad you like it. I find pixelated low-res death scenes to be quite hilarious. Plus laughing at death keeps the reaper away. Hey, there's a possible Mags idea for this month. Come on people, still a whole week left!
