alot thinner and the hair is a different shape, as well as the hair and jeans being slightly different in colour.

so any criticism on the update?

hes CERTAINLY not great so all advice is welcome.

hes meant to be a bit of a geek and an unlikely hero.
and i have so much to improve on so hopefully you guys/girls can help me there

i sure am picking it up.  i step over it, press the up arrow, the ammo on the ground dissapears...  but i still have no ammo???

Jide, tracing is fine. It's not the best way to learn drawing, but it's not exactly a cardinal sin.

So please don't lie about it next time, just come clean and get over it.  

ok so i traced... but it certainly wasn't an image off the internet!!  it was indeed a picture i took myself.

I must agree with the others, Jide.

How dare you pick a recognizable building to base your background on. Don't you know that using a reference opens you up to accusations of tracing, which (morally speaking) is worse than eating a newborn baby while punching its mother in the face?

I mean, what did you expect when you posted a decent looking but not spectacular background on a forum full of strangers? That we would give you the benefit of the doubt about your abilities and offer you helpful criticism like decent human beings? This is the internet.

that is so wierd - because i never even once looked at that image there when i created my background.
i recently visited Europe and based it upon a picture i took myself - but in know way is it traced.

The looks make me think of Robin of Sherwood.
