WHAT IS THIS FILM?

TINFOIL! Just the thing to foil their mind reading plans! Double yay for GarageGothics very neat solution!

I don't understand how he could have fucked himself with his own penis, but hey, maybe he's flexible or something =P. Anyway, I think he shouldn't kill anyone for starters.

As for him having any options to change his life...well dunno, maybe he should move somewhere where nobody knows him, and change his name and appearance.

A girl is all he needs to stop all these habits like masturbation and the already mentioned self sex. Of course, you'll prolly just say that people have those mind reading gadgets everywhere, so they can see his past activities by reading his memories or/and thoughts. But if he gets rid of his bad habits and starts a new life it will eventually die down, so he can have at least some peace.

And the second option is to go become an astronaut so he can get away from (most) people! Besides, space is fun, if a tad dangerous.

You're one scary motherf***er Domino.

What they say is good advice, and to chip in myself, I would recommend to learn how to draw simple shapes (cubes, cylinders and pyramids -balls are easy) in perspective (1, 2 and 3 point perspectives). Most of the things you can see can be broken down into these simple shapes. So if you can accurately draw shapes, you can build stuff from them. That will make your drawings look correct. As for coloring and texturing stuff, I'm not really good at that so I will not give advice.
Learning how to draw is one long process, so please have patience and practice a lot.

Heh, this looks like it's shaping up nicely, Baron. Good luck with the swarm!

I think feeding trolls is bad, so I stopped posting on any threads icey starts. Yes, ICEYGAMES/STUDIO3, to make it clear. I also think he is a troll, and I don't like him. I think people who tried to help him out and then made fun of him are not bullies, just because they tried to help him first. I think (6 eyes already! =) ) that he should altogether stop posting here, go away and grow up, get literate, delete all his games, forget about game making and consider a career as a crash dummy for a third-rate parachute company from a fourth wold country. Yes, I am a bully, and I don't care about his feelings. Yeah, I thought him funny at first, then I even felt sorry for him, but now I changed my mind! =O
I think if people stop posting on his threads, he will get the message sooner or, more likely, later, and maybe go away. If it doesn't help, and he still insists making threads about his crappy games or whatever else that I find nerve grating, he should then be removed from here. If for some reason he is allowed to exist here, then make him send all his threads to me for approval, before he is allowed to submit them. Heh, a nice solution all around, even if it makes me obligated to act the part of a reject machine.

Yes, I don't like him so much, I would actually sacrifice my time on doing that pointless task.

I hope I have been offensive enough.

A virtual theater thingy like BASS had, might be good for building a town and it's occupants I think. I also imagine you could get different topics each day when you talk to characters, depending on how much you know about them from previous conversations.

Well, not that I'm an expert on game making, but having a lot of people working on a game should speed up things...if there's a good system that makes it into a complete whole.

IMO, riping off and modifying a system that is used by big game companies could be a good start.
But on the other hand, we're not talking about normal game making, but this new "revolutionary" way of swarm game developing. Ha!

I'll concentrate on the graphic side a bit here, as that's what I think I do better than other stuff related to game making.

While I'm dreaming of this perfect way of doing things, I will also imagine I have a complete list of all the characters, rooms, GUIs and stuff, along with any requirements for size, colour depth, preferred style (a bunch of reference pictures for that) , and any other requirements the story makers wish for (like crude sketches of what rooms should look like and so).

I would then proceed to start all the graphics simultaneously, and release the horde of artist on them. Or to keep it manageable, organize the artists into "chains" so each gfx part goes through each artists hands once. Each artist would then draw some of the required graphics, and pass it on to the next guy down the chain. The last guy gives it to the quality control guy, who then decides if it is good enough to be put into the game, or rejects it, appends his critique, and sends it to the beginning of the chain again.
In practice, I imagine one guy outlining a room (for example), one guy picking colours and flood filling it, the next guy shading it, and the last guy applying touch ups. Yes, it could be broken down even further, but it's just an example so you can understand what I'm trying to say.
As an artist, you just do your part on one piece, then go to the next one, while the old piece is being worked on by someone else.

Of course, if there's a way you could find so many artist that would draw on a similar level, and produce at least average quality stuff, you'd still need to find a way to move all those sprites between people, track who has what and where, keep them all motivated so they don't bog down the process, and store all the versions of all the gfx in case of accidents and stuff that might need re editing. Yes, pretty simple isn't it? =P

Not to mention that you could try to find out which artist is best for particular fields of drawing so you can arrange the chains to produce better quality art.

And what happens if one artist goes away for some reason? I think it would bee good to have backup artist to jump in if that happens, so the drawing continues regardless of it, maybe.
The more I think about it, the more complicated it gets.

Anyway, it's all theoretical , I doubt anyone will ever implement it anyway.

Please, man, just roll up in a ball and die.

I think you should just follow your inner moderator sense of trollish behaviour and if it says the person in question is a troll, you should stomp his ass out of existence. If someone disagrees with your judgement, just pounce on him too. I mean, who cares about fairness when oranges taste so good? =)

Yeah, Scav knows his stuff, I would just like to add that the arms are at their widest one frame after the foot touches the ground with the heel; ie. when the whole foot connects with the ground. It's a common mistake in walkcycles. They're just hanging like those clock thingies (pendelums?) so they should show some inertia. Just swing something heavy on a rope, you'll get my meaning. That could be also be applied to the hands, but I doubt it's possible to do here, because of the small resolution.

On a whole the character looks pretty good. I like it!

Don't listen to Chicky, he sucks! =P

It's better now, though I'd still remove a bit more black from the thingy in the middle (nit-picking here), and the plant holder thingy is also a bit out of perspective, even though you are playing with perspective rules here, it's still showing too much of it's top.

I'd add a light fixture to the ceiling in the second room too. Your lines are pretty good, and I hope ProgZmax decides to tell you more about using a limited palettes, if he has the time, as he really knows how to do magic with so little colors.

On second look, the red and blue floor tiles on the second pic are out of sync a bit, and the left part of the table maybe shouldn't show the back leg on the right side(should be on the left if visible at all) in this perspective, which would mean you should also shift the table cloth/covering  on that side by a pixel left too, on the top of the table. Now it looks pretty straight on. I'd do a edit, but maybe later, I don't have the time right now.

All in all, the BeeGees are really nice, barring those few nit picks. Keep up the good work!

I'd remove some of the black outlines on the doorframe and the cabinet thingy, they kinda stab me in the eye. Maybe if you just left the outmost black outline and use some other colour for the inner ones?

Looks really good btw.
