Your welcome.

EDIT: I updated the main Web Page and fixed some directory issues as well.
#802
Thanks and your Welcome!! Also, I forgot to state that to upload the stuff, you need to use FTP.

Oh and Chris, feel free to add mirrors to any release of AGS. If Anyone wants, you can add all the older versions of AGS as Well.
#803
Thats right, and here you go: http://www.pncadventures.com/

There is nothing on there yet, but here is what you can use the site for:

One HTML file with images. In other words, YOURGAMESNAME.html and you can include as many images as needed. The html file has to be in the pagehosting folder and it has to be your games name.

You can upload images and avatars that need to be loaded externally in the image folder.

You can upload your game in the games folder.

I will be monitoring the files. Do not add anything offensive or damaging. Please do not abuse this priviledge I am giving all of you.

Let me know if you would like a front page (Or if you want to design one for me) and let me know if a forum would be good.

Keep in mind, I only have 20gb of space and 750 gb of bandwidth. So space is limited.

Here is where to upload what:

Images: pncadventures.com or pncadventures.com/images
Username: pncadventures.1
Password: 14d3c1

Games: pncadventures.com or pncadventures.com/games
UN: pncadventures.2
PW: 646197

WebPages: pncadventures.com or pncadventures.com/pages
UN: pncadventures.3
PW: 4d33ea

And those should be the URL along with your filename above. So tell me on improvements and stuff. And yes, I can see the potential danger in this system, but I wanted to give you all a place to host your games, small pages and images. And this is specifically made for the AGS Community. Other communities are welcome, just keep in mind this is strictly for games that are AGS games (Whether adventure or not). If its not AGS related, it must be an Adventure game.

Let me know on any suggestions or improvements.

EDIT: I added a few more options too...

Game Demo's: pncadventures.com or pncadventures.com/demos
UN: pncadventures.4
PW: 3fa95a

Tools(Specifically for adventure game making, including graphics editing) and Plugins or Engines: pncadventures.com or pncadventures.com/tools
UN: pncadventures.5
PW: 12150a

Walkthroughs for your games: pncadventures.com or pncadventures.com/walkthroughs
UN: pncadventures.6
PW: 958451

Ok, go moderatly nuts!

Zak McKracken: Jim Carrey, or Matthew Broderick.
Leslie: Anne Heche

Sorry, I had to add Zak to the pack. And Leslie was the only other character I could think of an actor for.
#805
I think we need to give it a chance. This has some pretty good directors, script writes , executive producers and actors already. Plus they are taking advice from the actual fans for the movie.
#806
You dont need orson welles. Unicron is not in the movie.
#807
And I am excited becouse he was the original Optimus Prime!!! Check out info at
seibertron.com and donmurphy.net as well as discuss this news here: http://www.energon-plant.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=1295#1295

But I am curious in this thread as to what you all think. Do you think this is good news or just stupid? Was it a good or bad decision?
#808
Well, one was remade. Why dont you use sci studio from BriPro.com, download PQ1 VGA and PQ3 vga. Rip the graphics, use AGS and make a remake of PQ2? You could even use PQ4 graphics to help you some more.

Just a thought.
#809
hmm... Have youdone it on the 4.95 deal or the higher ones? It still works for me.
#810
Maybe your doing something wrong... Netfirms doesnt give me that problem and I have several accounts with them.

Check out energon-plant.com to see Netfirms performance and file sizes. Thats my website.

http://www.agidev.com/projects/nagi/

Check that site out. Now you wont have to rebuy them or get them from e-mail.
#812
LOL.

I think the price stays the same as long as you put the code in when you renew it.

Plus I am hosting Energonplant.com with netfirms and I never have any problems. The tools suite they offer is awesome as well.

Servage.com seems to have an awesome deal as well. If I could put in a coupon code for them, I would choose them. Its just that they are too expensive right now.
#813
Goto www.netfirms.com

The initial price is $4.95 a month and you pay for a whole year upfront., But if you put the coupon code MAX in, you only pay $10 for the whole year.

This is what you get with your package for only $10 a year:

6000 MB (6 GB) of Disk Space
300 GB Monthly Data Transfer
10 E-mail Accounts
1 MySQL Database
Netfirms Picture Pro Photo Gallery
FrontPage Exts. & PHP Scripting
24/7 Live Response Tech Team Suppor

This is good for game hosting sites. Just thought this should be known to you guys,

Well, I posted this before, but here goes:

http://scumm.mixnmojo.com/   has a bunch of tools you can use.

http://www.scummvm.org/   or more specifically: http://www.scummvm.org/subprojects.php   and download the daily snapshots of the programs.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/scummdev
http://sourceforge.net/projects/scummlinux
http://sourceforge.net/projects/scumm4u
http://mmucs.sourceforge.net/
http://sourceforge.net/projects/escumm
http://digilander.libero.it/burton666/scummer.html
http://www.gorman.btinternet.co.uk/scumm2d.zip
http://www.fangames.co.uk/V6/resources/index.php?resource=8
http://tobybear.phreque.com/files/LucasRipper.zip

Also, try these threads:
http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=14539.0
http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?threadid=98093
http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?threadid=120611

Some resource sites for you with ripped sprites and stuff:
http://www.panelmonkey.org/sprite.php?id=702heme=3
http://www.panelmonkey.org/gs/Guybrush.gif
http://arnjeir.borgarholt.info/ags/dott+samnmaxcharacters.rar

I also knew of other tools but I cant seem to find the links to them.

This has been asked a gazillion times. Someone should really lock this thread and make it a sticky this way we avoid cluttering the forum with this. It is actually difficult to search for something like this. It took me an ahour to find those threads above. We should really sticky this, as it is a common question.

Also check out my site if you would like to host your game/site or mirror:

There was either an Interview with or a tutorial by Miez which explained how he did it. Am I right m0ds?

Check out the FoY site and look up tutorials. Check under m0ds signature to get to the FoY site.

Use Scummex to rip backgrounds from pretty much any LEC game:
http://scummvm.org/downloads/scummexwin32.exe

Its new and constantly being worked on by the SCUMMVM team.

Also, try scummrevisited:
http://scumm.mixnmojo.com/programs/scummrev2.zip
http://scumm.mixnmojo.com/programs/scummrev3.zip
http://scumm.mixnmojo.com/programs/SCUMMRev5_Build130.zip

I would download each version, becouse each version has a feature that they other one doesn't. Meaning Scummrev2 will have more compatibility and some more features than Scummrev5, while vice versa, Scummrev5 may have new features not available in the other two. Catch my drift?

Another good program is scumm16:
http://scumm.mixnmojo.com/programs/scumm2d.zip
Use this for Games such as Indy and even the hard to find resources games such as Zak McKracken and Zak256. I like this program.

Other good ones to try:
Costume ripper: http://scumm.mixnmojo.com/programs/costrip15.zip
Font viewer:
http://scumm.mixnmojo.com/programs/charlie.zip

For more useful tools for your Indy game, check out these sites as a whole:
http://scumm.mixnmojo.com/?page=main
scummvm.org

LucasRipper also ripps all backgrounds, character files, objects, animations and fonts.: http://tobybear.phreque.com/files/LucasRipper.zip

Yeah, this Simp game and the other are two seperate adventure games... This one being much larger.

About the Background, believe it or not, I took them from Cartoon Studio, the DVD's and Virtual Springfield.
#819
No, I am not going to make Homer die. I will leave that up to Matt Groening. Plus, this game is a prequel game to a much larger Simpsons game. So, Homer lives.
#820
Sure there is... If you want to prove to yourself that you can finish a timed game, you would get rid of the temptation of saving it after discovering each puzzle and then looking through a walkthrough to find the next.
