midi is good is you have synths.  basic default midi patches are very very annoying but with the help of a good plug-in instrument your tracks can sound as if a band was actually playing.

Just a question... I don't know anything about MIDI, so feel free to mock me if this is an idiotic question, but what is such a "plug-in instrument"? Is it an actual, physical instrument (a MIDI keyboard), or some sort of a plug-in? If yes, then could such a plug-in be gotten from somewhere and installed on my computer?

I only made one RotN game. It's "007 3/4 Disappearance Time", and it sucks horribly.
I thought that it would be interesting if I re-released the game, but with some commentary (like in Chronicles of Riddick, Half-Life 2: Lost Coast, Portal or the like).
It would be kinda interesting to see how I (back then: a stupid immature boy) came to create the atrocities found within the game. It will also reveal some behind-the-scenes material, such as my discussions with the RotN higher-ups before they accepted the game on the website. Finally, it will reveal what exactly do I think about the game and its character, Sam Salmon, after all those years.

Technically, there is a RotN Wiki, but it's pretty much inactive.

How to fix it?

I propose a new rule for competitions:

If a winner didn't start a new contest for a long time (e.g. a month), and he won't respond to PMs,  this will go to a willing individual.
I want to participate in Music Compo, yet I can't as Oz forgot about it completely.

Hmmm, maybe you guys are right. We could do it like MSPaint game or ASCII game. You know - caption, picture, caption, picture...

Actually, I want you to approve it or not, so that it can be in Competitions and Activities.

If you have an idea for a new competition, then post it in the General Discussion forum. It will then be allowed here if it gets approval from the majority of forum members.
