Not too bad but the fingers looks really weird

Er weirder than YOURS? Maybe they just look a little weird because I drew them small at 2 am and with the line tool and such  Also let his arms rest with ease comfortably at his side, not awkwardly stretched out like he's trying to look tough or something. Something like this:

The main thing is his arms look really awkward in your version.

Team working like this only works if everyone working on it has a passion for what they're doing, is assured to do it and not just some guy on a forum who runs off soon into development and the game just falls apart. I know stuff like this CAN work and I think the less people making it who can do more things the more likely it will be to be finished. And I know it will work for some people dedicated to the game, and some it just won't.

Maybe you deleated it by mistake or something. See if it's in the recycle bin, or search your computer for Room1.crm.

Nope, the computer crashed just as room 1 was saving thus causing it to be completly corupt, lost gone forever. It's ok I'm half way through remaking it anyway.

Well, the only problem is this is a forum for various artists to show THEIR work and get crits on it. Not to show someone elses work and ask for crits on it, sort of defeats the whole point of the forum.

I'd recomend Blender, it's free and not really that hard to use once you learn how.

Heh, I draw my graphics in flash too. But I just print screen them into paint then save them as BMP's then import them into AGS. With my backgrounds I just draw them how I would an uncoloured picture on paper. I only use layers occasionaly for objects I need to add in front of something already drawn, or if I want to draw something behind something already drawn. Afterwards I import the uncoloured background into Open Canvas and add some water colour and finishing touches. Then I might import it back into flash to add some final lighting effects and such. When that's all done I end up with something like this:

Sure my methods are un pro, silly and I wouldn't really recommend them to anyone. But maybe you can get some ideas for doing your graphics from all this

Sigh, I guess that's true, if only there was a way to extract rooms from a compiled exe or something then I could atleast get a sort of complete version of the room without having to do it again.

Well I've never had the need for the Microsoft AS. The other programs listed by Darth do a fine job for me... besides, I' m worried about some of MAS's detections. It detected Messenger Plus as having spyware even though it is only the installer that has it, and it doesn't install it if you choose not to.

And Krazy: The newer versions of Plus don't have the remove the ad thing, but you can easily fix that with the patch (doesn't require Plus) from mess.be

And yeah Plus works with the official 7.0 now 

No problem, I'm sticking with 6.2 and the older Plus, MSN 7 sucks so much that when ever I'm told to get it I give them four simple words "No I despie it". 

All I have is backups of the game data.

If you have a backup of the room file itself, you can simply copy it back in the game folder. Otherwise I'm afraid you'll have to redo the room.

Damn it that was the most complex and hardest rooms to do. Oh well serves me right for having the worst computer ever.

Grrrrr. I was compiling my game when suddenly windows decides to crash again, so I reboot. Once I have I find that room1 is gone, it's just dissapeared. All I have is backups of the game data. Is there some way of recovering this or will I have to make this room again?

MSN sucks on that aspect... no matter what you have as default browser, it opens IE. And microsoft says we can now choose which products to use on our system... BAH!

If you go to http://dallas.sark.com/SarkBlog/kcunningham/archive/2004/11/23/511.aspx you can find out how to open links in MSN Messenger in your default browser. It's very cool I think, and you can customise MSN alot more with Messenger Plus! And don't be scared by where is says Messenger plus! has spyware... just choose not to install it.

Heh, yeah MSN plus helps to uncrap Microsofts crappish program. Especially the ads, but eh don't really need to bother to install it on my dads computer really. And yeah alot of people are scared by the spyware thing, I was too once, but I found just click a simple thing that says I do not agree 

The hot dog stand looks good, but doesn't seem to fit with the rest of the rooms shaded no outlines style. You could either remove the black outlines on the stand or make the rest of the room have the black outline style. Whatever you like.

Hehhehe...Sorry for being so mean and unhelpful. As long as your dad doesn't use IE, you should be OK, no? Why can't Norton remove the virus? It can't even delete the file?

I wouldn't do that, especially on my dads computer, I don't even know what the site was as it crashed as soon as I got to it, but whoever makes these sites are very big poopie heads

Oh anyway it's sorted out now thanks for your help everyone. Apparently my dad got very angry but I was asleep then so my little brother had to endure all the shouting, and my dad was pretty calm and happy when he got home  The lesson is don't use IE even for a split accidental second, that thing is shit.

Perhaps you didn't read correctly. I said I DID use Spybot Search and Destroy and Adaware (which found nothing). I DO use Mozzila (have been since January last year), but I was in IE due to pressing a link in MSN which seems to open in IE.

I was browing on my dads computer, somehow I ended up at this site in IE (usually use mozzila but it opened it in IE through MSN I think) and suddenly norton tells me there's a virus it can't remove IE crashes. I try opening IE again and it's on this weird page and I can't change it even by setting it to blank and every time I open it there's a new virus alert. What has happened? This is horrible now I'm getting virus alerts all the time and stuff. I've gotta tell my dad, but I'm afraid I'll get into shit even though I couldn't help this.  :'( I feel so bad right now, adaware and spywaressd are no help at all. Help! :'(
