Thank you Viking.

You Win!

I was instantly able to hear the Scotch!

Since I was already drunken I didn't ask myself wehre the tonic water was and didn't miss the ice.

Now you decide the next theme!

dkh, AnalogGuy, or somone else:

can't you just post a small piece of music?

So I can instantly decide who the winner is and we go on with the next competition!
#43
Er...
I remind that there is this compo here...
Is there anybody who wants to enter?

I give you an example how it works.
To make it more easy for everyone...
Let's take a wodka martini:

A Wodka-Martini consists of 50% Wodka and 50% Martini Bianco.
Then shake it and put two green Olives in the Glass...
Ok now: Wodka is Russian and has about 40% degree of alcohol, it's clear and made of rye.
Martini Bianco is a Wermouth from Italy. Basically it's white wine with wermouth herbs and has 16% of alkohol.

Think about a musical theme that fits for the Wodka!
And same for the Martini!
Then mix them toghether somehow!
Shuffle or stir it.
Maybe two massive intermezzos for the Olives and some Ice on the ground.
And there is your music entry for this competition!

It's not that difficult!
Try some cocktails and you'll get an idea...

This competition might change your whole live if you drink and mix enough!
#44
Do you know what a "White Russian" is?
Or a "Bloody Mary"?
Or a "Wodka Martini"?

Sure you know some cocktails.
Just choose one that you like and make a piece of music that is based on the same ingredients and mixing techniques!

Maybe you could name the ingredients and also show a picture of the cocktail...

Don't drink and drive!
It's wrong...
#47
Ok, then Eric has won.
He mainly won, because it was the best entry at all!
#48
Well Ok.
Anyone else working on this?

You know what a battle-rap is, don't you?

If not then watch these popular ones:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwSKCZJxLXg&feature=fvwrel

Now the task is to make a battle-rap among two adventure characters.
You can choose any characters you want, but they must appear in an adventure game.
It can be an AGS game or a classic one...

Any language is allowed.
If you can't sing or speak even computer generated text is allowed.
Or ask your neighbors or your family to talk for you...
Maybe put some dope on your mic!

If you don't feel like rapping at all you could also use two
adventure game tunes and make them battle against each other...
#50
Thank you...
I feel honored...
It's a pitty that there were just two entries...
I will think about something and then start the next one.

Thank you for playing.
Here is a hint for you.

What could you do with the wool?:
1
Spoiler
You have to set the wool on fire.
[close]

2
Spoiler
Think about how our ancestors might have done that...
[close]

3
Spoiler
Put it on the stone and use the branch on it.
[close]

What to do with the petrol:
1
Spoiler
Maybe you can defeat your main enemy in the game: the dirty shepherd.
[close]

2
Spoiler
Open the tube on the side of the loo by using the hand or the armor...
[close]

3
Spoiler
Put the petrol inside the tube that is somehow connected with the loo.
[close]

The rest is up to you...

Hints & Tips / Re: a second face

thank you for playing.

The game is verb coin driven.

To pick something up:

- Move your mouse over the item.
- Right click over the item and keep the right mouse button down.
- Move the mouse button over the hands of the coin (or eyes/mouth).
- release the mouse button.

Viking is the winner.

Actually is sounds a bit like the circus background music, where the fettucini brothers are practicing their canon show...

I had answered this at my forum...

"The game contains voice speech just in the main cutscenes such as the intro and bigger scenes. There is a total of 90 minutes of voice speech. However the gameplay itself does not contain voices...

Are you sure you watched the complete intro? Did you get speech? I downloaded the game and it worked for me in English and German.

The Polish, Spanish and Italian versions do not contain speech at all, because I do not have a specific crew of actors to do this..."

As you probably already know after a brief conversation and permission by Biciclotti I will make a new Tune contest.

Do you know these TV shows where they want you to be active?

Let's say:
- Aerobic shows: Where you can see a sexy girl with lots of ugly overweight persons in the background and they are very active.
- Far eastern meditation TV shows: Where you can see a meditative group and all have to behave like Buddha in the same dress..
- Telecollege mathematics TV shows: Where a math nerd is trying to tell you and a group of monkeys how intelligent integrals are.
- Shopping TV shows: Where you and a group of housewifes get convinced about Doctor-Schnitzwurzhuber's-mixing-hoover-vibratorâ,,¢.

Well, if you know any of these things then let me tell you that I don't like them...
They are somehow disgusting and should probably be stopped...

However I want you to become as active as all those persons that are mentioned above
and write a tune that could be the background music for one of these activity shows...

You can freely choose what activity has to be promoted by the show...

I also say: No!
Do not release it.

I've had many experiences with game translations.
Those who want to translate usually come forward and offer their services by themselves.
Then I can give them the files.
This worked and works perfectly.

Apart from that every good translation needs continous dialog with the game autor.
We even had to build up a complete wiki with character and location descriptions,
where translators could meet and exchange each other...

If you release your thing you will cause a lot of trouble.
Also the first thing that will happen is that somebody makes a joke and creates a radically different translation.
Something like: "Polly wants a joint!" instead of "Polly wants a cracker!" or similar...
Maybe they will even use the dialogs of "Porn Quest" for "Kings Quest"...
It will just cause disgusting confusion.
#59
please don't make it longer...
we already had this competition one year ago...
