There's no need to have played all other episodes although it won't hurt...  (except your belly from laughing sometimes) ;D
Just have a look at the original site of Maniac Mansion Mania.

That wasn't all...  :)
Spoiler
There's still a pair of scissors left? And a rope?

Then you can proceed to the left.

Hints & Tips / Re: Featherweight

Left of the door is a control panel with three buttons. Use the panel and look at the blue lights half way the wire. When the top one is lit, look at the sign on the pole and check which part of the triangle is missing. Use the top button to set the symbol next to the door to the missing one. Repeat for the middle and the bottom wire.

The solution:
Spoiler
For the top button it’s the left side of the baseline. For the middle button it’s the upper part of the right side and for the bottom button it’s the lower part of the left side of the triangle.

Depends on what you've already done and who's where. What's in your inventory?
#405
You can always send him a message. I'm sure he won't mind, he's a nice guy ;-)

He did a lot of Italian translations already so maybe he wants to have a go at this one as well...
#406
Sounds nice. But maybe someone else (Paolo?) can help you translating so you can reach an even wider public?

Leave the mansion and visit the beach. Then visit the lighthouse.

Which one? On which day are you or what are you trying to do?

Can anyone then tell me how to run Nightwatch in DosBox without crashing after the intro?
#410
Did you find "The Life of Marty Shore" there as well? Then I can call off the hunt..

You might want to try Microsoft Virtual PC. Although DosBox works most of the time, I find MSVPC emulating better. You have to use your own genuine original OS with it and you can also install Windows95 with it.

Works for most of the old games although you need quite a 'heavy' machine to get it to run smoothly. Unless it's the only thing running on the machine, then it's ok.

You're in room 18 now.....  do I need to say more?

Spoiler
Next is.... room 19...

When I reach the pool with holy water I'm stuck (literally). I can't walk anymore. Bug? I noticed the same behavior in the desert just before that. When you enter the room and don't move quick enough, when you're joined by your pals, you're stuck.

[edit]
The red and blue potions are switched when you apply them. Blue should be sleep but shrinks them, Red should be shrink but puts them to sleep.

There is already a game that's based on this: Max' Parade

Try this link. It worked 5 minutes ago.

Very nice one. Not much to puzzle :-( , much more to enjoy on the graphics and audio section. The second part of the interactive story was a bit disappointing because there was no choice in the conversation. A nice wordplay/puzzle to convince and persuade #634 would be nice.

Graphical:  In the midsection of the game, when distracting the Stalker, it still looks like he's facing towards the catwalk and thus still can see you. If his face wouldn't be visible, he'd face the other way and really couldn't see you.

Overall, nice, but I'd love to see you two take another two weeks and create something more challenging for the player. In this case, you've won the challenge for yourself :-)

Slight typo (while talking to #634): DeepNet adjusts it's service --> its

You don't lose the knife.

I know. But when I can see it on the door, I don't expect it in my inventory. That you take it when moving on is ok, but for the time being remove them from the inventory. You don't need them at that time anyway so...

You need to make a complete raft:
Spoiler
Add the sail to the raft. Of course you need to pick up all the wood and use the rope to tie them to the poles to make a raft.

Then walk to the middle of the screen, just under the island in the middle and towards the water. If done correct, you'll automatically set sail. Choose your destination.

You can't get the boar just like that, he might see you (hint!). To make sure he doesn't:
Spoiler
Throw the sheets over him.

Then you need to kill it:
Spoiler
Hit it with the hammer and take it along.

I'll have a look. See what has been improved since #1... ;-)

The game has been renamed after compiling and should be DBL.exe. Now your setup.exe doesn't work, unless the game is manually renamed.

It's again an interactive story. Some parts where you expect to play are done automatically. Still nice story though. And debug mode is still on.

More later...

[later]
- A lot of typo's. Might want to get it proofread before releasing.
- On the second island, things stick to the door but stay in your inventory.
- You can open the shell more than once, while you shouldn't have the knife...
