Really cool image. Merry Christmas!

Any place we can find a larger version of the image?

I like this game series a lot. I think my favorite is "Horror at Number 50".

That being said, I think this is probably the weakest game in the series. It lacked the details that made me enjoy the last two games so much. The plot was kind of flimsy too.

Why did they just leave the monster's body on the beach? If Ben had taken it with him, it would have been a major discovery! Then maybe his parents wouldn't be nagging him about getting a "real" job, as the teasers for the latest game suggest.

This also seemed to easier than the other games. It's the first one I've been able to complete without consulting a walk-through. I liked that, but at times it seemed a little too easy.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the next installment. The developments concerning Percival Quentin Jones were very interesting, and I can't wait to see if we learn more in the next game.

Excellent game. Time limits are stressful and take away from enjoyment of the game, but other than that I loved it. Loved the storyline too. I wanted to complete each level so I could see what would happen next.

I've completed the game, but now I have to go through the whole thing without breaks. Wish me luck!

I'm sorry but I can't help saying this wasn't a bt of a disappointment regarding graphics since I've seen a lot of the work before, also I've been working on this game myself spritewise, ones that were unused. But nevertheles, I'll play this game through and see what it makes, as a game, you know. I just thought that I'd make a remark regarding the first impresion it gave me.

I think you did well with your team Radiant. But I can't help thinking you could have done better.

Sounds like someone's just miffed that their sprites weren't used. I say this because I thought the graphics were spectacular! Right up there with some of the best graphics I've ever seen in a freeware game.

Look around you. Is there anything that you could stuff the bed with so it'll look as if it's occupied?

Thank you Jenimad and Meerbat! Both of you have been tremendously helpful.

I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but...

Spoiler
...in the beginning of the game when you're at the castle, you can see Ruadh (the thief) wandering about on the top floor. I tried to look at him, touch him and speak to him, but he ignored me.

Is this "sighting" important to the game later on? It's a really great touch, I'm just wondering what relevance it bears to the rest of the story. Maybe I should wait and see for myself?

I had to start over due to some bugs, but -

Spoiler
Does anyone know how to escape the castle in the beginning without breaking the vase? I assume it has something to do with finding one of the secret passageways mentioned in the royal library, but I can't figure it out!

Spoiler
I was thinking that, in order to escape without breaking the vase, I may have to acquire the rope on the dummy in Geraint's quarters before the murder takes place. Geraint won't let me take the rope, but I think if I can distract him long enough with the alarum bell I might have a chance to slip in and take it. The problem is, I can't figure out how to get to Geraint's quarters after ringing the bell without Geraint stopping me along the way.

How do I get the girdle back?
Do I have to break into the Jeweler's shop after it's closed?
If so, how?

Regarding the rune...

Spoiler
Is there anyway to acquire it before you beat the Goblin Warleader in a duel? I've tried to get it before, but every time I break out of my cage and grab the rune, I get caught. It tells me I haven't been stealthy enough, but I don't know how to increase my stealth.

Jocker

Spoiler
If you want to help the fairy girl, go to the monastery and talk to the monk. There's a book in the library that can help you, but you can't read it without someone's assistance.

Hope that helps!

I asked this question a couple pages ago and no one responded, so I'm going to go ahead and ask it again. I hope that isn't poor hint forum etiquette.

Stable Boy Question

Spoiler
Okay, I've got the pumpkin, the crystal, and the sleeping mouse. Now what do I do? Every time I visit the Fairy Queen everything goes white and I get a crappy ending. I'm in Chapter 6.

Spoiler

Well, that's two questions I guess. You actually need to give the fairy queen those 3 items *before* you defeat the goblin chief. After you do that, you will get that scene with the white light and will never be able to go back there, even if you avoid the crappy end.

To avoid being trapped in the fairy land, there are a couple of solutions. The obvious one is to use the cold iron charm from the goblin camp, but if you used that already, just use the dagger on yourself.

Can somebody please tell me how to escape my room at the beginning of part 2

I think you'll find an answer if you search this thread (a pain, I know),
but I'll give you a hint.

Spoiler
Is there anything in the room that you could use to make it look like you're in bed when you're not?
Also, check the closet. Maybe you can make a noise and hide while the guard investigates.

I know this is way behind where most people are in terms of progress, but I can't get onto the boat in the pier...I'm already disguised and at the harbor. What am I supposed to do now?

Hey Anon

What do I have to trade with the Giant to get the crystal? Where can I acquire said item? I'm in Chapter 6.
