At least www.vimm.net has it, and it works, and that site has no porn banners. ;)

And yes, I've played it. Surprisingly good conversion actually. Sure the graphics are quite crappy when compared to the original, and the interface isn't the greatest, but considering how few adventure games NES has, it's a nice addition.

As for Maniac Mansion, I have it's Swedish version on the original cartridge. It started my interest in adventure games, by the way. ^^

Did you give the Grail diary to Vogel?

I have loads of old notes as well, it's always so fun to find them, even when I don't remember what game they're from. ::) (I still have a little notebook full of Laura Bow 2 notes, and I still haven't beaten it. :-\ But, maybe someday...)

Unfortunately you're right. Making notes isn't useful anymore. Although I've always thought that popularity of Myst-style puzzles is due to Myst's popularity.

BTW, is making notes going to be useful in Shadowplay, if I may ask?

If I remember correctly...

Wash the screwdriver in the bathroom, then use it with television so it dries.

BTW, I tried that duct tape solution as well. ;)

There is no Timer bug as frustrating as the SQ1VGA or the SQ4 bug , in one case you barely could escape from the Sariens when the "You hear footsteps behind" msg appeared, and in the other case it was impossible to escape in the Skate-O-Rama part from the Time Patrols.

I hear you!
Actually the on in SQ1VGA was quite simple to go around. Just crank the walking speed as high as possible. ;)
As for SQ4 one, it's not impossible just really really really hard and frustrating. I've beaten it twice, so if anyone says "Zap zap! You're dead!" again, I promise he'll/she'll be dead.

o.O I never had a problem like that. It was that light speed driving what made me give up. ::) (Of course that driving was ridicilously hard even when the car moved as fast as it's supposed to. ¬.¬ )

Okay, this part was pretty annoying...

Spoiler
Somewhere in the woods, there's a tree trunk which goes over a chasm. Little forked branch growing from that trunk might be the answer you're looking for.

Hey, foxies rule! :D

Anyway, that's a really nice animation. You might redo his ears though, since they look little strange. But, I know how hard it's do draw pointy ears when using just couple of pixels. ;) I might've drawn him little sharper muzzle as well, but that's just my opinion.

As for the backround... Yes, adding hills and stuff would give it more depth. That tree looks little flat as well.

But still, nice work all in all. I'm certainly waiting for this game. ^^

Ah, Chrono Trigger is surely one of Square's best games, but I wouldn't rate it the best RPG ever. Actually there are lots of wonderful RPGs which I've played (and probably lot more which I haven't played. ;) ).

Anyone remember EarthBound, Nintendo's and Hal's extraordinarily original creation? I've beaten it five times, before it became as popular as it's nowadays. I really should play it again someday.

As for Final Fantasies, I've only played FF4,5 and 6. Sixth one was excellent, but newer ones don't really interest me for some reason. (Probably because I'm so negative towards anything that masses like.) I'd still buy FF7 if I found it somewhere.

Ultimas are classics, nuff' said. :D Dungeon Master is another game which I haven't beaten yet, but I've liked it so far.

But of course, Nethack is my favorite RPG and I don't think anything will make that little fact change.

BTW, am I really the only person in the world, who thinks that Lavos's final form is nearly impossible to beat?  ::)

It's in the garage. In a drawer to be more accurate.

Wow! I can't wait for the demo.

BTW, Beverly's werecat shape needs a tail if you ask me. ;)

So that site really died? :( Just my luck. I was going to download lots of games there right when I get broadband, and when I finally get it...

But there was a blown up doll in LSL1 anyway.

But not as an inventory item.

*looks around*
Yees, I gotta admit that I own Lula... It was cheap.

Anyway... back on topic.
#118
There was a bottle of mineral water in LSL6.

Let's see now...

There was a jojo in FoA (One of the things Omar sells you.)
There was a comic book in Flight of the Amazon Queen
There was a sharktooth in Goblins 3
There was a lenght of hose in FoA

And m0ds, it's Lula not Lola. (Aren't I annoying today?  ::) )

Hmm... Pretty interesting idea, GarageGothic is right about those problems though...

BTW, I'd definitely download that Mosely-game. ;)
