If, by some accident, we actually get to vote for it, I'll vote 'no'. Only because no one seems to have the faintest idea of what the constitution actually means.

Please, oh please tell me this isn't real.

Quote from: Kinoko on Tue 08/03/2005 00:35:02As far as RPG making comminuties go, all they seem to be interested in is creating 'systems'. "I've created an item system!"... but no game. Noone seems to want to make decent games, just have a go at programming certain components of engines. The games that do get made seem to be 99% made out of RPGMaker, and well, are short and crap and are comprised of ripped FF sprites.

I think that problem exists in all game making communities. Programmers are a pretty crazy bunch you know.

Just out of curiosity, did you happen to come across that cover in I-Mockery?

First and third one's legs look perhaps a bit blocky, if you know what I mean. Other than that, great looking characters. Gotta love the expressions.

Bah. Making levels for Duke Dukem 3d is much more fun. :P

www.adventurers-comic.com Wonderful poking at Japanese RPGs.

www.ozfoxes.com Cute foxes, and sometimes pretty funny jokes. Worth checking if you like cute stuff.

www.commanderkitty.com Misadventures of purple feline and his crew. Down right now though.

Well well, didn't I start a conversation...

Reason I don't like The Dig is because it's storyline gets worse and worse after the good start. I also don't like the empty (albeit beautiful) world which makes you run around way too much. FT didn't have these problems, so I can forgive it's low points (shortness and easyness, i case someone's not listening).

Definitely a nice game, even though it's too short and easy.

...and has couple of irritating puzzles. But hey, at least it's much better than The Dig.

Larry Vales!
:=

Definitely. It's one of the few games that have managed to make me laugh out loud... repeatedly.

Ah yes, the game that ends just a bit after it tells you that you're halfway through. Then again, the petal-puzzle takes ages to figure out anyway. Could you believe if I said that I didn't like it? :P

Actually I could promise that if I ever finish a game, I won't write a walkthrough for it. Actually, I won't even help people who are stuck in it.

Didn't that have lots of hidden options? You could make the sheep do some pretty crazy stuff that way.

Neko is cooler virtual pet though.

*bonks* Erm... *honks*

"Honk if you love FoA!", now there's a bumper sticker I could use.

I was stuck there for a while as well, until I realized that I could walk south in few rooms of the police station.

Quote from: PaulSC on Wed 10/11/2004 15:35:30On the critical logo issue... I personally think the Firefox logo is, in fact, just a fox. On fire. Hooray for literalism!

Considering the fact they also sell red panda plushies, I would say that there's no fox on the logo.

Ahh, the desert temple? Then things are just about to get interesting ^_^ Do you have the Us version? Then you have to put up with "Dellltaaa Sttooorrrrmm" and such things, right? *shudders*

Better dig it up again, I guess. And I'm playing the european version, which naturally has those irritating lines. :P I'll just have to cope with it. Thinking about Digimon's finnish dub should make it sound better.

I second that. It's a wonderful browser, and has a cute panda in it. What more could one want?

Has anyone played Skies of Arcadia?

I bought it some time ago, and was pretty disappointed. The plot hasn't really taken off yet (I'm in that desert temple right now.) and the battles are even more repetitive than in FFs. I hope it gets more interesting soon.

I play both.
On japanese ones, my favorite is definitely Final Fantasy VI. I'm one of the three people who found VII kinda disappointing. Best western one is naturally Nethack.
