Hi everyone.
I'm pleased to present you my first management game made with AGS.

You must manage a riding school : buy horses, train them and the riders to make them better, play compets and win them to become more popular !
It's in french but an english translation will be soon available.

All graphics made by me. Music by Kevin McLeod.
English translation by BoneHead.

Hi !
I have added the sequel of the first Dread Mac Farlane game. This second game is called "The Crocodile of Time", it's the adaptation of the second french comic book with the same name.
Unlike the first one, this game is not the adaptation of the complete book, but only the beginning. That's because I don't have time to finish it. But I hope you will like it anyway. It's short and quite easy, and the story is the direct sequel of the first game.

You can download it here : http://katurajdr.jexiste.fr/fichiers/jeux/dread2.zip

There is an english translation.

Hi !

I have just finished my last game. For the first time since I make games with AGS, I have drawn everything myself... hard work !

Here is the game : it's the adaptation of my french comic book (5 published books) called "Dread Mac Farlane", the story of a young girl from the XVIIth century Caribbean who grows up in Neverland with Peter Pan and the Lost Boys, who wants to become pirate like her father she never knew.

It's, of course, a point&click adventure made with AGS. I'm sorry but there's no english translation yet. I hope you will enjoy it anyway.

Left click to look at, right click to use/take/talk. Move the mouse cursor at the top of the screen to see the inventory box and the save/restore/quit menu.

My last point&click game made with Adventure Games Studio :)

You are James, a little boy from London, who will become friend with Peter Pan, and will have to travel through Neverland to rescue him.

Graphics are from Reiner (http://reinerstileset.4players.de), and music from Kevin McLeod (http://incompetech.com).

Instructions and solution are included in the zip file. There is an english translation, just lauch winsetup.exe.

I everyone :)
I have made many others games since Lucasmaniac, but I have translated no one into english, so I prefered not to add them on the AGS official site.
But now I have just finished a little game just for fun, Pirates of the Caribbean with Monkey Island graphics ! :)
The idea is to show in a fun way how those two stories look like each others.
I hope you will like it :)
There is an english translation in the setup.

Hi everyone :)
I am working on a new AGS game. It will use an isometric view, with mouse control (no keyboard).
I would like that my characters walk only in diagonal directions. That means that the up, left, right and down directions won't be used, and the character can't walk directly up, left, right and down (he has to walk diagonally to reach a point each time).
Is it possible ?
How ?

Thank you very much for your help.

I have searched the forum yet and found some tips about isometric games making, but nothing interesting for me (keyboard control, etc).

Hi everybody.
I have read the manuel but did'nt find any answer (and as I'm french, it's quite hard to me to understand everything).
I would like to let the player enter a name for his character, and I have created a GUI with a text box.
Now I want to display the name in another GUI label.
But I can't find the code to get the text box content and put it in the label.
Can you help me please ?  ???

Hi everybody :)
I have just finished my new game.
It's very short, very easy (in fact, I think we can call it an interactive little cartoon, not really an adventure game ^^), but I hope you will enjoy it :)

BEFORE THE DARK CRYSTAL : it took place some years before the events told in the movie "Dark Crystal" by Jim Henson. You play a young Gelfing who must rescue her best friend.

You can download it here :
http://katurajdr.jexiste.fr/fichiers/jeux/before_the_dark_crystal.zip

There is an english translation (I hope it's not too bad !).

Thank you ! :)

Hi everybody :)
I'm starting a new AGS game. It takes place in the world of my favourite movie, Dark Crystal.
You can download a short demo of the game. It's only the beginning, but I hope you will like it.
There is an english translation. I made it a bit quickly, so it maybe full of mistakes, but I will fix it in the final game.
Enjoy :)

Completed Game Announcements / LucasManiac !

Hi everybody !
I have just finished a game. This is the longer and, I hope, the most technically well-done game I have made until now. And the first that I have translated into english, because I think it can interest many adventure games fans, as it is a tribute to many LucasArts games.
In this game, you play Bernard, the main character of Maniac Mansion and Day of the Tentacle, in a new adventure. He will visit many places, meet a lot of people and fight many villains !
But I can't tell you more... just have a look ! ;)

This is the file, including English translation and the solution (in french and in english) : LUCASMANIAC ! - Zip file - 4 Mo

[EDIT]
I have uploaded a new version with some fixed bugs and a corrected english translation.

Some screenshots (with french texts) :

I hope you will enjoy it.

How can I register for the AGS Awards ?..
#72
Hi everybody ! I am a french user of AGS and I have already made two little adventure games with it (but all in french).
I am actually working on a new one, longer and with an english translation, because I want to register it for the AGS Awards  ;D
I will post it on this forum when it's finished.

But I am posting on this forum (I hope it's the good section for that), because I have noticed that french AGSers are very rare. Too rare. I think it's because AGS is only in english.

That's why I am working on a french AGS technical forum, with tutorials in order to help french game creators to use AGS. For the moment, there are only beginners tutorials, but I will work on advanced tutorials later. I would like to know if Mr Chris Jones (thanks a lot for this wonderful software !! :) ) will agree about that.

You can see it at this adress : http://adventuregamestudio.fr-bb.com (there are also links to download my own games).

I hope more french adventure games fans will made great AGS games thanks to it.

I have posted this news here because I think it can help the AGS beginner users if there are French among them.
Thanks ! :)
