Hi there. I'm going to a school called "Multimedia Design", and I got an assignment from them, and if I succeed then I'm in for the school.

The assignment is to make a flyer for CJP, wich is a dutch company that supports cultural activities for youth. I chose for subject, "Movies".

The language is Dutch, but what do you think of the design? Is it good enough, and if there's something bad, please point it out!

Dear fellow adventure developers,

As I am webdesigner for a company, my boss was willing to lay down $799 for 3D Gamestudio Professional! So now I can work on a 3D tour through the shop. I can now finally create high-detail 3d games, so I'm pretty happy now. Especially because I can keep the license!

So I'll be going to learn this 3dGStudio, wich will take me alot of time, and probably won't get much time left working on ags-games. Though if I make a 3D-adventure, I'll be sure to let you know

PLOT:

You love to play chess. Every spare time you can find, you place the wooden pieces on the squares, just to stare at the wonderful game of chess. Weither you play against an opponent or yourself, it doesn't matter.

One day, just like any other day you start to play a game of chess against yourself, when suddenly you feel dizzy. Everything becomes black, and lose your conciousness.

When you wake up, you find yourself inside the chessboard. Or in other words, chess became a real excisting world, alive infront of your eyes.

There are two sides, the white and the black side. You are in the middle, to be precise,  D4,D5,E4,E5. It's up to you to choose weither to help the white or the black side.
So basically there are 2 different adventures you can lead, and two different endings.

Goto "zonwering", "binnen", and choose one of the green buttons. You'll see a flash presentation, but it overlapse the side of the page. How can fix this? The presentation isn't too large, but it just overlaps. Thanks in advance!

Another question. Is it possible to give a double ID in html to an item? Because I want to make that the green buttons will be shown only when you click Binnen, and not immediatley.

Hi everyone. I'm seldom posting here anymore, but I'm still here guys! I got me a new guitar, 12strings! So I thought lets shoot a picture, and tell some stuff that happened in the meantime.

I have been playing now for a year, and I wrote 30+ songs, and performed to more than 4000 people, till now. It's going great, and I love music.

In February I'm going to start going to school again. I'm going to study for "Multimedia Designer"!!11!1one!1.  At this moment I'm working as a webdesigner at some small company. As for my study, I'm thought to just make hobby professional Why not make money from something you like to do? euh?!

In top secret I'm also still working on a game, but I'll post about that later! I'll try to post some more often again at the boards.

Is there something, written in PHP freely available, to make your own webshop, with "add to cart" feature, and so that people can buy stuff on your website?

Hey people, I've been working on this for the past days, and wanted to show you. What do you think of it? I modelled everything in Wings3D, and made the textures with The Gimp. Rendered with Poser.

This morning Windows kinda crashed, and I turned my computer by the powerbutton off. When I turned it back on, and Win XP was loading, the screen suddenly went black and computer stopped loading.

Then I tried Save Modus, but it seems that somehow the computer won't recognize the partitions on my harddisk anymore?! Could that be? I get in save modus a list of some drivers in System32 directory, and then it stops, and I can only turn the pc back off.

I'm clueless what to do! But I need the files on my computer! Thanks in advance, for your trying to help

Yep, finished school for this year, and I'll be working for a year, and then continue. I decided to make a new adventure game, with AGS, so you'll probably soon see some stuff of me posted here.

Hiya there dear friends of AGS,

Haven't been here for awhile now, and as most of you know, I'm doing a children-missionary training school. I've had and have busy times, but it became time to let you hear abit about the things going on. First of all here is a picture of my classmates:

So... I've got alot to tell, but I'll keep it short.

Over the past months I've alot about children ofcourse, clownery, running a kidsclub, studying musicals, and practising alot of guitar!
Since september I started playing guitar, and I wrote till now about 20 songs, so I really like to make music! I'm curious to see how far that talent grows.
Furthermore I've had alot of lessons that affect on my personal life, to recieve healing from pain and sadness from the past. I built up a strong character these past months, and have had alot of expierence with children now. And besides all these things, we'll learn alot about God and have much times of prayer together. If your not used to that, you might read this and think it's boring... well we also have alot of free time and make alot of fun together!

Firstly the plan was to go to Brasil in April, but God had other plans for this year, and our new place to go is Romain (I hope I spell that correct!), and we'll be going from 8th april till 22nd.

So... basically, I'm doing alot more than just sitting behind the screen of my computer as I did all my life, but actually using my talents in, acts, dance, musicals, teachings, music and much much more. Besides that I'm still doing things on the computer ofcourse, and I'm putting my free time into 3d-modelling. I might even make another game with AGS, for children as my idea already was, but at the moment I'm too busy with everything!

Hello everyone! I haven't been around for a long time, because of my school. The school is even above my expectations. For those that don't know, I'm on a fulltime childrenworker-trainingschool of 1 year.

There are 15 students in the class, and we are on the second floor of the church. We live together with 20 bibleschool students of "History Makers".

These first weeks were all about cleaning yourself from your past, and getting to know eachother better. We have done alot of childrengames together, to play with them when we work in situations like (street/aids/war...children).
For 3 days we got teached by a proffesional clown, in lessons of balloons,clownerie, and studies about what a clown is. I can now make several cool balloon things like : dog/flower/giraffe/helicopter).

Also we've been learning to pray and seek God alot, and laughing/crying together. It's such a wonderful school. Finally I'm learning to get also discipline. Like going to bed at 11pm, and up in the morning 6am. I'm cleaning the toilets each day, and I've learned to be thankful for these things.

Well... ofcourse there are alot more things to tell, but that's just too much! 1 thing is certain. I'm going to work with children around the age of 6, and begin schools and do lots of cool stuff in my life

PS : I'm still using AGS, and I will use it for making some games for little children. So I still wander around here now, and then...

Hi there. I haven't posted in ages... and lately have been working non-stop on modelling. I want to show you my finished work on a Billiardpack I was making. Feel free to give critics or comments

*just as a note, it's a commercial product, aimed at Poser users!

I have this problem with the In Production thread. It seems like, it's kinda forbidden to give constructive criticism about games. I mean, like I want to say that a game sucks... but instead of that, I'll say "good effort, good luck one, keep up the good work", or something similiar.

So what I mean is, that it feels like there is some kind of mood like "Don't get to harsh on a game...because the creator is doing so much his/her best".

I think that just sucks. If I'm trying really hard making a game, and I come up with a lame story, stupid graphics with standard photoshop layers, gradients and lame animations.... and in reply to that, everyone tells me it's great im working on the game, and they are looking forward to it.... then I'm working my butt of, though actually being in a big glimps, not realizing, my audience won't even take effort to download/play it.

In short terms, I'd like to ask you to lighten up abit, and if I'm wrong here, tell me also. I just think that's it's good to be honest to eachother, because compliments are only to get yourself a good feeling, but critics are really handy for a creator.

Well... until I got some good answer, I'll continue for most part (unless where I really can't bear the view), wandering around without giving any comment.

It's pretty recent still... only a few weeks on the internet. This polish guy is like the best piano player in the whole world, and sure is a fan of Mario! He plays a 10minute mario theme, including all levels, and themesongs. This guy rocks! The speed is so high! And with covered eyes! He also wrote out all the music sheets! Very cool for all musicians!

The man is going to sell a cd at ebay, as he says. He also got a movie of him playing backwards on the piano, really hard!
