I am so eagerly awaiting this game! Because of this project I check now and then the boards for it's release! Hopefully this year... btw, is going to be free, or commercial? Not that it matters, only for the GUI I would buy it!

So just here my personal praises to the project, for stimulance to continue! :)

http://www.5it.nl

Hi there,

I've been working on this for several months, and now it's finally online.
My dutch website of a game I made in flash 5it.

The game is about finding the 5 differences in photo's, and you can get into the online highscore. By playing 5it+ version you can earn yourself tokens, to redeem a price!

The website is in dutch, and a price can only be send to someone within the Benelux.

I hope you take a look at the website anyways. You can play by clicking on 'Spelen', and register an account. You recieve your password into your email, but you can change this later on.

Feel free to respond with questions and comments! :) And most of all, Have Fun!

Dear AGS Community,

As I happen to know that there are a few people amongst you that make some great soundtracks for games, I'm looking for someone to make a mp3 file for my online game!
I can work my way around in FruityLoops, but I feel like I do not have the required skills to make it good.

What I'm exactly looking for:
A soundtrack of approximatley 3min wich has a repeating sound. It's shouldn't be a song but a background music sound wich gives the game abit more atmosphere, and adds to the excitement of the game. I think the art in it is to keep it simple yet authentic.

As it is an ambitious project and I really want a great original track I will pay you for composing it, through PayPal. It will be a relative small amount, but we can negotiate about that.

Please contact me through PM or reply to this topic if you think your suitable for the job. Please also include some of your earlier work. The deadline is about 7 - 10 at top days.

Thanks in advance for your responses!

Hi everyone,

I'm developing at the moment a new variation on the popular game SeekTheDifferences, in Flash. In case you don't know the game; a player has to seek within time a number of differences between 2 pictures that seem like almost the same.

All I have left to do is add more stages to it, wich are now about 30. As the game picks a random level each time, 30 is pretty low. All the photographs are shot with my own camera.

Now what I really need is some photographs made by YOU with your own digital camera. These can be pictures of architecture, nature (this is very widely subject), food, householding...actually almost anything.
The reason I'm asking here and not looking on google, is that I want to be sure that I have permission to use the picture. Also the resolution doesn't matter that much, as I will decrease them to 320x240, to save bandwith ;)

I hope some of you can send me some pictures. You might just find you own photographs in the 5it game and have to look for some differences  :D

This game so totally rocks my socks off!

I haven't played it all that much, but I love it already. Especially the music and atmosphere created by the introduction :) The game has alot away of Sam&Max , wich is good! :)

AGS Games in Production / Re: Resonance

I'm just simply amazed by this game! I would easily lay down around $20 for a game like this, if it is going to be as I've seen so far!

Also inspires it me to take adventure games to the next level, as you have done with your great GUI ideas! STM, LTM, just genious!

Good luck with the game and to the whole team!

Sounds like fun, I was already planning on entering a MAGS soon, so this would be a good time to attempt on making a better game than a few years ago.  But I won't promise I'll be in this one, I'll just starting thinking of a story! :)

General Discussion / Re: Selling my 3d work?
Mon 31/03/2008 20:27:02
I live in the Netherlands too, and I've been selling my 3D models on Renderosity for years now. No taxes, just simple monthly paypal credit :) They do take 50% of the salements. I make about $300 a month for me... so here's my store with my products... to see alittle bit about how you could do it...

I browse the internet through PaintBrush(Win3.11) as there was a secret internet browser placed in that application at the time. It is very powerful!

Critics' Lounge / Re: Band Name (and logos)
Fri 28/03/2008 16:59:50
I got a band recently, and I came up with the bands name of "Good4Nothing" everyone digs it... we make PunkRock & Metalcore. I could ofcourse show you our art, but then I'd have to kill you!

ps: let us hear some recordings of your band. We hadn't had officially a band name after we had about 20 songs lol... everyone kept asking, whats the name of this band? lol
The art isn't really convincing, looks more like a photoshop experiment <-(how the hell do you spell experrimmend?!)
