Can't you just save the flash swf as an avi? I might be wrong that there is no such option in macromedia flash... but then you can still use a desktop recorder, to record your playing flash and save it as a movie file.

WTF s0rzzz!! If CJ needed $10,000 and he posted that on the forum, then I'm sure he'd collected it in no time, without having to sell his testicles!

I'd probably give him 50euro if he wants to.

Hey! This brings me to something else... How much would you spend at most (in money terms), for AGS, if CJ would ask at some certain moment for support?

Ok, I'm drawing a dvd-case cover for my own ags-game, and I have a question about this. What should be the size of the image to be the right size, when you print it out. How do I know wich size I should use?

"The greatest gift"

maybe you could make a twist in the story, wich is that the hero can't find the present and comes home to his boy, and just hugs the boy, and tells him "I love you, my dearest son!".... so that's the greatest gift... but dont tell anyone!  ::)

hmm, these rules are straight against my motto, wich is "no violence, no blood, no bad language and childrenplay-guaranteed"... and I could probably just start a debate about why I dislike the whole zombie thing and blood idea, but I won't ;)

I'll just get ahead with my entry for last month The Windmill... and hope you all have a fun mags :)

Thanks alot, guys! Yes farlander, I will look out while riding my bike. The only thing that bothers me, is that my light isn't working and my brakes are broken and the ring doesn't work, so when I pass someone, I have to shout out loud "RIIIIIINNNNNGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"....

puddin, should I take that as a compliment??

and yeah czar, they should let us drive in Holland at the age of 16 in cars. I mean... most accidents happen when old folks of 80+ are driving 60km/u at the highway! ::)

 8) 8) 8)It's 1 February 8) 8) 8), and that means it's party here! I'm a year older!I hope to get a discman so I can finally listen some music during riding my bike to school.

Wow, the time really fly's by... and before you know it, you are an adult (or atleast you are expected to behave like one). Not that I'm already an adult.. FAR FROM IT! but you do have to grow up from time to time...

Well... let's not think about it too much, and just enjoy the day with cake and more cake, and some visitors coming over.

Greetz, and I hope you all will have a great day today in whatever you do! ;D

Yes, I like the first one better too. It seems more natural animation, though you did a great job with MoHo. Although moho is easier to make quicker different kinds of animations on the character, I think the photoshop one fits better to the background.

The moho version, looks like blended into the background, and it really looks like the same style as the background, though in these adventure games, it's nicer to use a little different drawing style for the characters. Maybe it's just the blacklines. Maybe try to make the outlines of the moho version darker, and some black detail lines, like in the photoshop version on the shoes and belly.

But after all, I can only say WOW! with whatever style you are going to use. I'm really looking forward to this game, and your graphics look very proffesional, and I would definatley buy the game if it was in the shop  ;D Keep up the magnifercent work!

edit : I overlooked the background and I think the mirror above the sink is just a tiny little bit off-perspective.  :-X

General Discussion / Re:GBA emulator problem
Wed 28/01/2004 22:51:00
Euhm, it's not that you didn't install directx, but it could be one of the following things.

1. You are running a windows edition that is not completely compatible with directx. Wich are you using? The emulator might not work on Win NT or 2000

2. Your graphics card settings are wrong

3. Directx settings are wrong, change them by starting up the dxdiag.exe if i remember correctly. That file should be somewhere in C:\Windows\System\

4. You have a virus on your pc, maybe adware, that is changing some information on files on your pc, and in the directx data, so that the emulator can't read the files correct.

I hope any of these points might solve your problem!

How can you show a freaking screenshot of a movie!?!...
By pressing the button print screen during the movie on your keyboard. Then you open a paint program like MSpaint, and you press ctrl+v. This means that the picture you just saved on your clipboard will be pasted in the program. Now goto file/save as and save your image as an png, or jpg. Then upload the picture at www.2dadventure.com/ags/upload/upload.html and post the link on the forum!

TADAAAA!!!

You must have photoshop/psp or thegimp. painting program. It supports layers.

You make a new layer on top of the image as it is now, and then you start drawing over the picture. ;)
