I started with AGS in May this year, and in June I started with Sam&Moos. And due to being very lazy, I guess... the demo, is getting released now in November. Well... this is my second game, because I also made Puddy Penguin.

Prologue
Sam & Moos  are brother and sister, and they are for a few days at the house of grandpa. A few months ago, when they also went to grandpa, he told them a story, about a treasure in the house, that is over 300 years old. The treasure belonged to Hugo, a grand, grand, grand, grand, grand, grand, grandpa of Sam & Moos, and he smuggled it during the invasion on earth.
Sam wants to find it, and is going to search the house until he finds the treasure!

Game Facts

Final word
I haven't yet beta-tested the game, so it could be possible that there are bugs in the game. If you find one, please report me, and also PLEASE tell me what you think of the game, because I think I need to hear that. I'm a bit doubting about the whole concept, if it's OK enough.
PS : The menu when the game starts does not work yet, just click anywhere with the mousebutton!

Well have fun playing the game!

Thanks vel! I've changed it to strings, and I think it's sounding better. It only takes time for me, to put a good melody on the back.

flippy : Thank you flippy, it's a nice offer, but I don't think it's neccesary, because I have already done my research ;) I have found 3 different movies of the story, 2 books, and also lots of art on google.

What does that mean??  When I try to save the game, it gives an error, and says, "Nested functions not supported".

It gives an error about the global script. here is the part that gives an error.

function character2_b() {
 // script for character2: Use inventory on character
 if (character[getplayercharacter()].activeinv == 8) {
SetGlobalInt(5,GetGlobalInt(5)+1);
SetGlobalInt(4,1);
DisplayMessage(63);
LoseInventory(8)

}

Please help me!

I want to add a value of 1 to a certain global value within dialog and outside does this work?

within dialog :

set-globalint 1 +1

outside dialog :

setglobalint (1, +=1);

I just need to check, so can you tell me if this will work?

It's better, but the you really should change the perspective inside the houses! These lines are really incorrect! Try pointing all lines to one certain dot in the picture, mostly the center.

second, remove the pattern on the roof.
third.. the gradient on the door is awful, it looks better if you'd drawed yourself a door.

euhm.. wasn't there already the AGS awards, by DGMacphee, if I'm right?

Secondly.. I think the site is vague on alot of issues.
How to post your game? What are the prizes? What language is the text on downloads :p? Why another ags-awards, if it already excists?

I've got another idea...

Maybee making it "SSH Tech". That fits to your chips, and it can also stand for other things. so you'll get something like : http://www.ssh-tech.com

Yippeeee!! Wow, I can't believe it either. I watched it with some friends this evening, and 6-0 !!! Wow wow Wow!! Scotland really played bad, no offence. I mean the free kick from side of the goal, and according to an old saying "a donkey never hits himself twice on the same stone", but scotland just got twice a pretty much same goal against them! LOL!  ;D

Click on the link beneath! this link works :

Chess project DOWNLOAD LINK

About your project... It's really great in my opinion. I'm a member of a chessclub and really like chess... and I wonder how you done this thing. I only think that there's a bug in the puzzle with the bisshops. But really nicely done!

Hi there. I can't really consider myself very good at music at the moment, but I'm learning, and I think that's the most important thing.

I started on making the main theme for my big project Narnia Adventure, and I made untill now 45 seconds of the song. I'm happy with the result until now, but I can't figure out, what to add to it. Can someone give me some advice on improving on this midi, and how to lenghten it more?

I hope you like it here is the midi :

Competitions & Activities / Re:November MAGS
Tue 18/11/2003 15:11:09
I'm also out of the competition with Narnia Adventure, not because of the time, but because of the fact that I want to make it be a good game. I finished all 12 rooms of what I planned for this mags-entry, but the lame lacks on all sides. I'd rather keep it to myself... and upgrade the graphics and animations.

So... I know I've started lots of projects... but Narnia Adventure will be my big project to work on. I'm looking at my school (9000 students) for someone to help me with the graphics, and I'm at the moment busy with creating the main theme music for the game.

I hope to find someone at school, and if not... then I hope to draw better myself ;) but I'll update the thread in "Production" soon, and give you some more info.

Good luck to all other peeps that DO join the competition!

Oh, and buy it legitimately, Revolution are a gaming company that deserve the cash.

I always buy games legally, and also applications. I agree that this company deserves the money, I just found it abit disappointing... but maybee I expected too much of it.

SSH, I think scotland will be winning from Holland again. Holland got only expensive players, but no team in the field, so if you ask me... we just stay home. But what does it matter anyway.. we are world champion Korfball! :D
#757
Well... I downloaded the full game, because I couldn't wait for it to be getting released in Holland... and it disappoints me alot!

The interface is very bad... no mouse is just sooo worse. And please someone tell me why I see those white blinking stars on every object i can interact to. It's like people are to stupid in these times to solve puzzles of adventure games, because this game is so easy!

The graphics are nice, but although I'm a fan of 3D... it doesn't improve on the gameplay. It's just all to obvious in the game, and it seems like I'm just walking a straight way, without exploring.

The speech though, is very good and mooded. I liked the cutscenes also alot, and I haven't finished the game yet... so I'll just go on playing some more... but for as far as I know until now, my final score is :

Graphics : 8
Sound : 10
Gameplay : 6
Overall : 7

tnx for the advice jazz and tomus! I was only like 14 years old, and my first time getting drunk was in prague. So I just thought it was real czech beer...argh....

Is Czech joining the EU?? Doomed!! EU sucks... it's much better to see a country with their own money... and yes... the beer price will become much more expensive if they join the EU! :(
#759
Hey, I've been once on vacation to Prague, in Czech... and I loved that beer!!! I still can remember the name... Staropramen! :) I bought like 20 liters and smuggled it to holland :D It's soooo cheap there!

But anyway... I like the screenshots, and I think you modelled the beds very nice. It gives me a very anno2003 feeling .... dunno why?!  ???

So keep up the good work!! Cheers!

and again a very nice piece of read, vel!
I really like the fruityloops tutorial, because it just learned me some little other things, that I didn't knew :)
