I think small projects can be big also.  If you have a game of 20hours of gameplay, but it sucks, it's a waste of all the effort, because people simply quit the game, without completing it for 30%. You can better have some small good projects. From that position, people can look at your skills, and you can recieve critics and comments on how to improve. I know I've been promising some games, and they are also in the freezer, so don't think I gave up on Undeniable, cause it's still coming, only I had for example on this game a written plot wich took the length of about 460 rooms, and at the moment I only need 60 rooms, because I decided to be making a smaller game, because i would never finish such a long game.

Some old weird people are sitting around a campfire in front of my house, and im trying to work, but they have their french music superloud on. I hate these freakin music! THESE people are even clapping!! MAN !! it's 9:00pm! Should I go to them and say " PUT YOUR FVCKING MUSIC DOWN" or should I hit them with a baseball-bat??? WHAT should I do? I want my peace!! GRRRRR Those weird demonic people.... hehe.... i mean.. you must be demonic if you can even clap on this shitty french music!

I use FruityLoops 4. I bought this program about 2 months ago, and I'm still learning it. It's very powerfull, though there are some limitations on MIDI export

thanks wanderlady. I see that I didn't make my deadline, and the game is for 75 percent complete.. I need to make still a few backgrounds, and ofcourse their script. I had same problem, I chose king kong, but it wasnt mythical monster, so i chose the yeti. In my game I will show you finally who the yeti is, and what he does, and why he does it!

I want to make one very long dialogue... like something almost as long as a book, but i was wondering if theres a limit on the length of a dialog? or should i use multiple dialogs for it?

or how about this : You find the owner of the mansion murdered, and you start searching the house. The man seemed to be obsessed by butterflies, and there are some notes that are telling something of the Yellow Inami Miato butterfly, and the posessor of this butterfly, has the ability to control time. He got murdered for this, but the murders couldn't find the butterfly, and you must search for the butterfly and the killers.

The butterfly seems to be burned and in the diary of the man, is a paper, that is empty. You have to put the paper under the candle because it's citrussap written words. Now the text appears, and he wrote that he destroyed the butterfly because it could be a great danger if it felt in bad hands. Now you only have to find evidents for the murders!

I remember Sherlock Holmes cases on CD-ROM, I have one cd of it, and it consists of a large adressbook, and alot of movies which are shown when you finish someone. You had to listen carefully and make notes of persons, and dates, so you could find them or relatives of them, or check the newspapers, to find clues. I only finished the mummy's curse... the other 2, I couldn't find. But this is really cool, making notes.

I also made some notes by bladerunner, and I think it would be really cool if you hadn't had to do everything with the mousepointer, but that you DO get stuck when you didn't wrote a number. Only if you go back to the source you find it again. But this also makes programming alot harder, and requires much more effort.

to moresco : you have my permission to edit it and use it for your album, though I do like some credit. About fruityloops. At the cd, there are some very handy manuals and tutorials from beginner till advanced musicians. Have you tried these? They really helped me out. Ofcourse it's fun to play abit in fruityloops, but It's sure cool if you start learning more and more about all the powers of the studio, and you can also download more plugins at the FL website!
