I found your videos hilarious for all of these reasons. I don't quite get why everyone is being so hostile towards you for posting a video, you're obviously enthusiastic about making these videos which is nothing but a good thing. Make more and you'll only get better, that or you'll get worse, either one will do.

If it were me I would have run SpinRite version 6 on that sucker and boom it could probably fix the drive enough to at least get files off of it. It would have also told me what was up with the hard disk and possibly been able to fix it! It is a commercial product http://www.grc.com/spinrite.htm but... you know.  :
